Food is horrible. The best thing is the salad bar or if you get something from the grill plus there is a Subway but the hot food selection is horrible most days. In the mornings they grits and oatmeal are either hard as can be or the oatmeal is very watery. Not to mention they are totally expensive because 90% of the menu is weighed by the ounces. I go only when I don’t have a choice

I was returning from a flight from Newark to Los angles when I found out the flight was delayed five hours and instead of reaching LA at 10PM it got here at 2:30AM the next morning. The Airline said this was due to delays by the FAA. they said soon all the air travelers will be experiencing these delays. So the airlines have filed a law suite on FAA. Airline trade groups seeking to block budget-driven furloughs of air-traffic controllers said in a lawsuit against the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration that the planned cutbacks are based on a flawed reading of the law. The furloughs of controllers, which the FAA says are required under automatic budget cuts known as sequestration, would reduce aviation system capacity and hurt the economy, according to the suit, filed yesterday in the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington. The FAA will discourage air travel for all US travelers time to travel by train or car.

Meh. Even for a federal cafeteria its kinda crap. The dining options are limited(a couple chain restaurants and the requisite salad bar) and the place is way over crowded. The seating is limited and difficult to find a spot also. Any fed workers can get to it, however security is slow and painful. However, there are some cool planes to look at on the way to the cafeteria and there is a nice view of the mall while you eat. Im not a big fan of this compared to other federal cafeterias(you would do better at Energy, Education, or Agriculture).
