This place has been advertising that it’s going out of business for about a month and a half now. When I asked the owner when he was *really* going out of business, he said April. So it could just be a hoax, who knows? At first glance, you might not think the sale prices here are that great, but they are willing to bargain with you. My BF and I ended up walking out of there with a box filled with wine, four bottles of liquor, and some beer — all for about $ 100. And no, I’m not an alcoholic. The trick is to look for the stickers that advertise two-for-one deals on wine. They are scattered throughout the store and are great deals if you aren’t too picky. Also, if you really want something, just act like you don’t really care about it and suggest a ridiculously low price to the sales staff. They will scoff at you at first, then you should just shrug your shoulders as if to say«your loss.» Within five minutes, they will approach you and agree to your low ball. One thing you should be prepared for is the intensity of the staff here. Within 30 seconds of entering, I was approached by at least four sales men. It was really, really annoying … but stay strong. They will leave you alone if you let them know you ain’t nobody’s fool.
