I recently had an appointment with dr Fischer after not seeing him for over 8 years. I’ve had 2 more children, a marriage, lost my mother, grieved with my daughter over the loss of her father and one of my best friends. Let’s just say… I was long overdue. He answered and returned my frantic call on a Friday evening and offered to see Monday. Due to my inflexible schedule we decided on that following Wednesday. He was everything I had remembered and more. Concerned, yet to the point. I was referred to him over 10 years ago when seeking a psychiatrist that could not only help medicate with my mental illness but that would actually listen and deliver answers and advice to my concerns. He doesn’t accept insurance but who does these days. Plus I’ve found his concern and time to be well worth his cost.

Lied about being in network on ZocDoc. He is not in any network and charges a buttload.
He is also gruff and hung up on me on the phone twice before I thought our conversation was ended.
He only wants to medicate instead of actually solving problems.
