Cordial sells two of my favorite adult beverages: the Corsair Triple Smoke whiskey and the Conde Villar vinho verde rosé. If I had to choose one whiskey and one wine for the rest of my life, these two would be it. And I can find them both in the same place, which cemented my love for Cordial.
This small shop sells other great brands as well, so you’d be doing yourself a favor by visiting. It’s not an extensive collection, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in compelling products. And the staff is ridiculously friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be stopping by more often.

This is the best place for a wide selection of beer, wine, and any other fine liquor. My girlfriend and I have been coming here for over 2 years and it’s a place that we absolutely love. The staff immediately helps us with selecting the best drinks for our taste, and take the time to explain the taste and where the products are from. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’m definitely recommending this place as the best bang for exquisite taste. Kudos & cheers!

I don’t know that much about wine choices, nor am I a snob. But I like places that give me whatever I want without overcharging or suggesting the most expensive stuff. We’ve stopped by a few time for the tastings and they’ve always had a nice craft beer selection in the fridge as well. I love the fact that we can just pull in the parking lot, and go inside pick up a moderate bottle of wine immediately and just peace out. The service was nice, and the Malbec suggested had a lot of body and flavor then the typical supermarket ones that I try.

You know that one time your friend pulled out a dusty bottle of (insert name of ridiculously good but incredibly rare rum, scotch, bourbon, gin) that kay blew your mind and you’ve been looking for it ever since?
Yeah, well somehow this place has it. Or at least a line on how to «acquire» said ‘rare liquor of the gods’. Talk to Peter. He REALLY knows his stuff (don’t worry, I tested his rum cred) and will perfectly match you to the drink you will never be able to live another night without.

If you want to pick something casual for a wine pairing and you don’t want to sift through Schneider’s massive selection, then Cordial is probably your best bet. I was looking to pair a fruity red wine with an Asian inspired lamb chop dish, and I was able to find a nice Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon that fit the bill. I’ve enjoyed a couple of Australian wines here as well, and it’s rapidly becoming my non-​neighborhood wine shop of choice. This is a great addition to Union Market’s growing list of vendors.
