I can’t say much for the actual Beavoir school, but you can join its swimming pool in the summertime. It’s actually not a scary pool, despite the endless possibilities for public pool filth. It’s not huge, but there are plenty of chairs and it has never been too crowded when I’ve been there. A friend of mine’s mom was nice enough to let me come here under their membership a few times, so I’ve never paid. But I think it’s $ 400 or so for the whole summer. If you’re the kind of person who likes to lay out on the weekends, or get exercise in the pool, it might be worth it. The pool is hidden in the Cathedral complex, but parking is actually not too bad.
