So generally I’m a haircuttery/supercuts type of guy… not really big on frills and fuss over my haircuts. So why B Ramona’s Salon & Day Spa? It’s right next to my house and I walked by one day and there was a sign for a men’s haircut special for $ 10. $ 10!!! When even places like haircuttery are charging closer to $ 20 for a cut, I couldn’t believe that I could get a decent cut for just $ 10. But after overcoming my skepticism… or mainly just being extremely lazy to travel to haircuttery… I ventured into Ramona’s and found myself in for a very pleasant surprise — a solid haircut(not that my hair is complicated to do), shampoo, and even a very quick head massage for the great low rate of $ 10. To be honest, I can’t always tell whether or not my haircut turned out well or not. I usually base the quality of the cut on my girlfriend’s reaction… it’s generally pretty blunt and honest(read: Your haircut looks like you’re wearing a helmet). But after my two cuts with Elizabeth from Ramona’s, her comments have been more on the side of «these are the best haircuts you’ve gotten since we’ve been together». So with that ringing endorsement, I’ve got to give B Ramona’s a full five-star rating.

This was my first brazilian at this salon and it was a great experience! The esthetician, Minerva, did an excellent job making me feel comfortable. She did not rush the process but went at a pace in which I felt comfortable. The results were great! I am definitely coming back!

Been visiting this salon for over 6 years. Ramona is a great small business owner and works hard to please all her clients. Haircuts, waxing, pedicures and great massages and facials. Definitely make an appointment as weekends/evenings can get busy. New massage therapist Sabella who is trying to build a client base. We need more local businesses like this in the neighborhood.
