My favorite pizza joint in dc. I go there weekly. Not only are their jumbo slices delicious, they have tasty entrees as well. My personal favorite is the grilled eggplant parm. Hole in the wall, no seating, but delivery and pick up is ideal.

This is my favorite place to get a jumbo slice!!! Here’s why: When I asked if they had ranch to dip my jumbo slice in, the response was«This is a pizza place. That’s like asking if a library has books.» Now, I’ve been to many pizza places where they’ve looked at me funny when I’ve asked for ranch dressing. The people get it. Their pizza is also just generally a good slice of pizza, and it’s really quite jumbo. Some places say they serve jumbo slices and when you get it, it really isn’t that jumbo. Honestly, it’s always the primary motivating factor when I go out on weekends. I think, well hey, at least the night might end with a jumbo slice.

Went here one night. Pizza was not great, but edible. Guys at the register were nice, and I didn’t think anything of it when they took my credit card to the back to run it. Less than 24 hours later, I get a call from my credit card company saying someone has stolen my credit card number and is trying to buy groceries with it. Obviously I can’t be 100% sure this is where my card # got stolen, but it seems mighty suspicious, given that this restaurant was the only place I’d used my card in days — and the only other places I’d used it in the week before were to at a Metro ticket machine and Trader Joe’s. Definitely not taking any chances — never coming here again.

Disputed the charge with my credit card company, and Aroma’s STILL tried to make me pay for food. Luckily, my bank accepted the dispute and removed the charge(ate the cost).

This is kind of a hole-in-the-wall place, and I was a little reluctant at first, but the $ 3.50 slices are huge, fresh, delicious, and worth it after a night on U Street. Give it a go.

First try at this place but won’t be trying again. Ordered through GrubHub and was given 45min est delivery time. Thought that was a little weird for 2pm on a Thursday but after an hour and 20 minutes, I called to make sure the order had even been received. The gentleman on the phone was polite and said my order had just left and would be there shortly. It’s less than a mile but it was still another 25 – 30 mins until it arrived. Lukewarm. And after all that, our calzones were just okay. Not worth the wait.

The pizza was okay. We live less than a mile from the store and it took longer than 90 minutes for the delivery and the pizza was cold. I called twice to ask when the pizza would arrive and received no explanation or offer of a discount.

we finally cancelled out order after ordrering over an hour and a half ago. they were not pilote when we called twice to see where the order was. this is not a reliable or trust worthy business. go to the next pizza place on Unilocal if you want to eat anytime soon.
