Absolutely abysmal customer service. I’m trying to close out an account that has $ 5 in it and they want me to send a snail mail letter with copies of two forms of ID. Excuse me, are you familiar with identity theft?! I don’t send that info via snail mail or email. I opened this account solely so I could access a highly-rated credit card that they offered. What a mistake. I could certainly forgo the $ 5 in the account but I don’t want to have any bank account open that I know I will never use.

Poor customer service. I’ve never once been to a «bank» where the teller calls you to the window and then answers the phone AND has a conversation while you’re wating. Seriously? The tellers act as if they’re doing you a favor by you banking there.

Helpfull, but slow. It seemed as though I was left to be served «when able…» But, when they did finally get arround to serving me, they did a fine job.

I’ve never had such a bad experience with a business in my entire life. AFCU blocked my Visa card five times in seven weeks after I moved to another state. Twice on the weekends. Had to call their horrific customer support and wait for 15 minutes on hold before someone talked to me.
Declined a small $ 7000 loan for a security deposit even though I make more than that in a month. Wildly incompetent and unfriendly phone customer service.
Online banking that is unusable. You can’t do wire transfers to another bank, for example.
Worst experience ever. Stay away from these guys.
