One night I was here amongst friends and rogues and a bad local band, watching the Bruins vs Chicago in the Stanley Cup Final while my wing man worked on keeping his prospects separated from his date. Next thing I knew, the building was empty from the floor to the ceiling. That’s right. Rocky Point is dead and now, so is the Pub. It holds the dubious distinction of being the last bar where the big game was on a 13″ tube TV like my mom used to have in the kitchen 15 years ago. You can’t kill a 13″ Zenith TV, but if you don’t pay your taxes the City will kill your bar.

TERRRRRIBLE,!!! STAYAWAYIFYOURSMART,!!! Prior to catching a flight to Florida from TF Green our family stopped at the Rocky Point for lunch. Both my husband and son who have never been sick a day in their lives spent the entire flight and the rest of the evening locked in the bathroom. Extremely sick from the chicken wings… Poor guy’s, the flight attendants were very helpful in that there were only 4 bathrooms in coach. I had a small green salad fortunately…

This was the spot we would get delivery from 2 – 3 times a months. Then items would be missing, extra condiments omitted, or it would take forever for delivery. We lived with it for awhile but one night we got a pizza that just tasted sour and awful like something had gone bad and that was the last straw. Fast forward a few years and we had dinner there today. Food was a mixed bag, fried appetizers were ok, pizza was fine, 2 sandwiches were awful. Both had stale bread(2 different kinds of rolls) and were both cold. Service was really poor — We were there for almost an hour and ½ a good portion of it waiting and waiting and waiting for the server to get a to-go container, for the server to bring the bill, for the server to take off one of the sandwiches, for the server to come get our money. Really bad. We gave it another try, there won’t be another.

Oh Rocky Point Pub… you are drunk. First let me say this, both me and my friend arrived here around 10 pm, and when we walked in we got carded(which makes us super happy)…upon being approved that I was in fact of legal drinking age, I walk past these two burly bouncers, I look to my right, and what do I see? Why, I see a young lad that couldn’t have been more than 11 playing pool… Everyday he be hustlin’ ? This is among the very top dive bars throughout the city of Warwick. They have pub food, which I did not try, but the beer was good, even though the selection was small. My friends and a band is what brought me here. I managed to down a couple Stella’s, which were superb in their glorious golden rimmed chalice. The bathrooms were a nightmare. The crowd was interesting to watch, especially if you enjoy a little scuffle when people like to «take it outside» Needless to say, I enjoyed the night along side some great friends, a decent live band that brought back some good memories and some good ol’ stella’s.

I live in Warwick but don’t enjoy many local businesses. I tend to trek outward for that. However. Rocky Point Pub has become my local watering hole when I’m feeling up to it. It’s CLEAN. People are so so so friendly sitting by the bar and there’s ample room for those who want tables with stools or island style tables. Bands and music aren’t ever too loud, which is something I don’t like about most pubs/bars. Bartenders are really chill. The pool tables and dance floor look fun for those taking advantage of such amenities! However, I’m content with my drafts of beer, people watching. The pub attracts 20s-50s. Maybe older — but its always a good mix. And I definitely gotta try the food, sometime. But damn, I just really love my beer.

What has happened to this place?! This used to be one of the best bar/restaurants near Warwick Neck. The past couple times I’ve been over the past six months I’ve noticed the size of the portions have gotten significantly smaller. And the food is ALWAYS way over done. They still have a decent selection of beers on tap but when it comes to food, there are better choices nearby.

Ok so i came here on friday and grab a pitcher of beer and listen to some music. well he beer was good but they get the bottem of the barrell bands. seriously please try them out before you put them on. i never dog musicians because i cant sing but but they were 4 old guys who look like they just came out of a nursing home. You think you want to keep a heavy crowd get better bands together. i would rather pay a small cover for better bands. This was bad. I swear one of the guys was a cheeseburger short of an ambulance ride. Come on Rocky Point Pub kick it up a notch and be competative

Wow… The memories I have of this place were never fond ones, recently checked them out again and BOY am I glad I did! I had a craving for clamcakes and the line at Iggy’s was waaaaaay too long, so we «settled» for Rocky Point Pub. Not only were the clamcakes good, but the appetizers were unique and flavorful, the service was polite and fast and pleasant. Definitely recommend!

I hadn’t been here in a few years but a friend wanted to go, so off we went. What an improvement! The place was so much better than the last time I went! The bartenders were friendly and fast, the prices reasonable and the place was clean and well lit. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up, I’ll be back to try some food soon.

A pub with pizza One of the many pizza pub type places found in Warwick. This is definitely one of the better ones. Always extremely clean inside, in fact one of the cleanest pubs I have ever seen anywhere. Someone working there must really be into cleaning. Besides being clean the pub also has two pool tables, some wide screen tv’s and two bars. The pizza is exceptional with an amazing amount of different possibilities, with lots of veggies, meats and funky and stinky cheeses. They also have zillions of appetizers, including not only the usual wings, potato skins and nachos but more exotic things. I’ve never actually tried any of the grinders or dinner type things but they all look and smell great. The damn pizza is so good I’m not daring enough to try something different. A great place to pig down a pizza or sit and have some beer and appetizers with friends.
