I believe this pizza is previously frozen. I enjoy pizza; Giovanni’s (Bronx), Catanzaro & even Ronzio’s (Cranston), but this pizza (papa johns) was terrible.

The dough is fresh which made the Pizza better in quality. However, I bought this with chicken wings and the chicken wings where awful ! Looks like they just threw it in the oven no flavor and breading. Plain frozen chicken wings just thrown in the oven.

I received a phone call from someone allegedly from Papa John’s corporate offices stating I would receive a phone call from the store owner within about a month. Yeah, right, sure… they got my money and never had the courtesy to get back to me. Congrats, you’ve joined my NO BUY list permanently. BUY LOCAL, not corporate!

The pizza took an hour to get to my house, It is now sitting in my oven warming up, I honestly do not think they could have given me a colder pizza. This is the 3rd time I have had to wait an hour for one pizza, and second time that it was cold. Plus they left off ½ of the toppings.

While the pizza is fabulous, their customer service leaves something to be desired. The delivery person couldn’t find my apartment, although I’ve never had that occur before. While giving him directions he sighed when I told him he would have to turn around, and then as I was giving him directions he hung up the phone. I called the store to speak to a manager about the poor service, she sounded very unqualified to be any type of manager as she said all she could do was yell at him. Very unprofessional store and will not be doing business with this location again.

I love papa johns. The quality of the food is excellent. I am not really big on Chain pizza shops but it’s the best… as for this particular shop I have gotten great pies for a long time. My food is always the way I ordered it and it comes in a timely fashion. What more can I say?

We called in to order a pizza to be delivered to the business immediately adjacent to the Papa Johns. No pizza after over an hour and now they are not answering the phone. I could have made a pizza at home and driven it there twice already. This happened one other time and I thought it was a fluke. Nope, it is a pattern.

I ordered from this place twice this week while living in a hotel. Both times I ordered the think 14″ pizza and both times the pizza was very good (quite surprising for Papa John’s).
They told me that they’d be here in about 45 mins both times and they made it within 25 mins both times, you can’t get better than that.
The first time I ordered was on Friday, Oct 17, after a two day 26 hr long drive from Tampa, FL to Prov. I was beat, tired, hungry beyond belief (hadn’t eaten since 10am) and couldn’t wait to eat some pizza. It was very good and after eating a couple of slices before keeping the rest for the next day.
Would definitely order pizza from here again, if I’m in the area.

Got the email that my order was ready, drove down to pick it up which was 10 minutes away. Had to wait another 10 minutes because in fact my order was not ready. This place looks like a GM assembly line and not a pizza joint. I must have had 3 people touch my pizza!?! Really? Should be named Papa Jokes… can’t wait to get back to jersey for real Italian pizza.

I love Papa John’s. 9 times out of ten I like to get pizza at a local place but sometimes I have to give my business to Papa John’s. The pizza is just so good and I love the garlic butter sauce they give you for dipping. I think they have some of the best chain store pizza by far. This location is always consistent I am always satisfied with the pizza. I tried the apple pie for the first time last night and I can’t believe how good it was!!! The quality of their ingredients are top notch and the prices can’t be beat. $ 17 for a large specialty pizza & apple pie. I NEVER rave about chain restaurants but Papa John’s is worthy of a good review.

Ordered two large pizzas at 3:30 PM on Wednesday and it took an hour and a half for them to come to my house. After about an hour of waiting I called the store to see what the delay was and I was informed by the store manager that they were severely understaffed. This information would’ve been more helpful at the time of ordering. I did however feel bad for the delivery driver who was out of breath as he was running up to my house.
