Good prices, decently clean. Sometimes the food is on the edge of experation but it is usually good. I love the selection you can get things you didn’t know you wanted lol.

Job lot is awesome. I buy most of my household supplies there. There are a lot of treasure and it’s fun to shop there. However, only downfall at this particular store is the front end supervisor lady, she is one grumpy biotch. If you hate your job then quit and don’t take it out on your customers. I had to stop going to this particular job lot due to her rudeness even though it’s the closest one to my house. Otherwise, if it wasn’t for her this 4 star would have been a 5 star.

By far the most organized OSJL I have ever had the pleasure to shop in. The only down side is it is on West Shore Road. Take that how ever you wish.

Okay, it’s a Job Lot. So, you know you are going to score some good deals. I was psyched to find a ton of Polar seltzer 6 packs for $ 1.65. They also have a great selection of storage bins in a variety of sizes. They’ve got pretty much everything else you’d expect at a typical Job Lot, except this store is kind of dirty and run down compared to other OSJLs I’ve visited. Also, I didn’t love how one of the cashiers was going around complaining about how sick she was. Ewww. I immediately doused myself in hand sanitizer after checking out. They accept Discover.

I like the whole idea of Job Lot and the sense of adventure shopping — you really never know what you’re going to stumble over. I’ve scored fantastic cookbooks that for only $ 4.95(I paid over $ 35 for the companions to the ones I found at Job Lot). Some cool foods too. However, you get what you pay for — we had a deck umbrella fall apart after just one summer. Won’t buy one there again. But if you’re careful and think about what you’re spending on, it can be a blast. But wow, this place is getting super run down and icky. And they NEVER have enough cashiers on duty. I still shop there, cuz I love my adventures! But c’mon guys! Clean the place up some!

I was here recently and my cashier(Amy) was the only open register. She failed to notice the six customers waiting patiently in line as she provided commentary for every item that she ran through the register. Yes the man ahead of me is purchasing a lot of umbrellas, yes he is going to have a crabmeat sandwhich with the canned crabmeat he is purchasing(yikes) and yes the socks he is purchasing will probably be warm. I dont mean to sound cranky however I do not come to this store to socialize… I am purchasing low quality items for low cost… can’t I please do so in peace. Seriously, regardless of how annoying the customer service is, you can’t beat some of the prices… wrapping paper, gift bags etc. Job Lot… you know I love ya and you know I will be back for more!

You never know what you will find Yeah, it’s a junk store. No way around it. But it’s a nice junk store. It doesn’t smell and I’ve never seen any kind of insect life creeping around. It’s not too dirty and although it is messy, it does have a kind of convoluted logic to the merchandise. However, I never seem to find exactly what I’m looking for in this place. If I go in for gloves, I come out with socks. If I go in for a shirt I come out with pants. If I go in for bamboo tomato stakes I come home with a book on Bulgarian politics. The inventory is totally unpredictable from one day to another so you take your chances. Even sale and advertised items are questionable. They might have the item but not in the right size or perhaps the item is in an «unusual» color or style. Not exactly what you had in mind. Fortunately they have enough stuff that you probably will find something that you need or at least think you need, so you won’t go home empty handed. I usually enjoy going here. I always find something, even it the something is a something I don’t really need. If nothing else Job Lot does have some unique and different things. A wide of assortment of stuff that makes if fun to dig around and look. Not a bad place as long as you don’t get your expectations too high.
