This place has much more of a bar feel than a restaurant. So imagine my surprise when the food we ordered arrived… and was great. My wife started with a bowl of clam chowder and said it was excellent. Likewise for my bowl of chili. Food is typical«pub fair»…burger and sandwiches. I had the meatball with fries and both were very good. The misses had a burger and was also pleased with her choice. I do think they could turn the jukebox down maybe 2 notches. And believe me i loved the song selection and am no stranger to loud music… just not blasting whilst dining and trying to carrying on a conversation. Small gripe though and I will most likely make a return visit… also want to mention the craft beer selection… very good and reasonably priced.

Amazing bartenders, great food and daily specials and a pretty impressive draft beer selection. They even have $ 4 pizzas if your just looking for something simple to eat with your beer!(Not amazing pizza, but for $ 4 it’s a good deal!) Go check it out. The personalities behind the bar can’t be beat! They make you feel like you’re at home.

This place definitely transitions to more of a bar from a restaurant in the evening. The place was packed with locals, so I’d take that as a good sign. It had your typical bar food, that was served quickly and with large portions. Our waitress was attentive and took good care of us. Definitely not setting the culinary world on fire, but if you’re looking for a good sports bar, look no further.

Every time I go to Providence area or Warwick a must on my to do list is to hit the Grid Iron. The food is fantastic, and I’ve had everything from NY style pizza to sandwiches to chicken & even corned beef. They have an abundance of beer on tap as well as TVs with every sport imaginable. But the real draw is the staff and the regulars. I’m a Texan through and through and everyone at the Grid Iron makes you feel like you are family, from Pete the owner to bartenders Randy & Chris remembering your name to the waitresses like Tiff making you feel special. The regulars are super welcoming. They have poker & a buffet Mon & Wed and the regular players are super nice. A big shout out to my Rhode Island buddies Dave, Pete, & all-in– Rob & Tom(good luck with I Love Rhode Island Bars.) Thanks for making this Austinite feel so welcome!

Very close to the Providence airport. Stopped here before returning the rental car. Had a great burger(I recommend the Grid Iron burger) which came with a generous amount of fresh French fries. Good beer selection on tap at super reasonable prices. We were greeted with: what game would you like to watch, and there were 2 televisions turned to our choice right away. Super attentive waitress without hovering. Nothing special in décor in or out but a very decent place at a very reasonable price so close to the airport!

Older gentleman took my order at the bar, I asked about the wine selection. He stated«there is about 20 bottles». Asked if they moscotto. Rolled his eyes and went to get the wine. He seemed upset I ordered wine. Came back gave me my order. I gave him my debit card and proceed to say«oh and your paying with a credit card that’s just great». I was gonna start a tab but He walked away. Never back here again.

If your a craft beer fan, this should be your go to place. They have a great selection of draft beer and they are all very reasonably priced, all the guys behind the bar really know there beer, especially my friend randy that I usually visit when he’s working. Staff very attentive, place generally pretty clean for a bar, and the food is pretty decent too. A little off the beaten path for me since I’m a Johnston local but it’s definitely worth the drive for me on my day off.

We wanted to go somewhere different before the theatre. I said«the first place we see, that’s where we’ll go». And I’m glad I did! It was just before the Kentucky derby so the place was busy, but that doesn’t stop the bartenders from serving us quickly and with a smile! The people were very friendly and I was even approached by the regulars to see if I wanted to buy into the derby pool. I did. And came in last place. UGH! I didn’t eat there, but looked at the menu, didn’t see a heck of a lot by way of vegetarian food. The restaurant itself was modern and clean looking. I will definitely be back here!

I’ve usually had a pretty good experience with the food and experience with this place and I’ve never reviewed this place so that is why I am not giving it just a single star. This last time however, we ordered nachos and some entrees to go, I’m not kidding when I say wow did we get gypped. The carton which contained the nachos was less than half full. For $ 8 I would’ve expected a little more. Our entrees were also very much on the skimpy side. If it wasn’t a 5 mile drive back through rush hour traffic I would’ve returned the food and demanded a refund. I’ll give this place one more try, however if I have another bad experience such as this I’ll give my business to the other 12 or so pub style places within a few minutes of this place.

Horrible service the last time I was in here. Received a wrong order and when it was pointed out the waitress sighed as if it was our fault rather than apologizing. Spent majority of the time being ignored. Highly disappointing seeing we watch 95% of the games here. Guess I will have to find somewhere else that appreciates our business.

Went here to watch the world series and it was great. Had an awesome wing deal with really tasty wings. A decent beer selection and good service. The best part of this place is that it is in Warwick so you get to watch and listen to the trashy Warwick population at their best. There was this high top table of girls sitting near us and one girl was sporting the most scrumptious black lace whale tale all night long. Some old dudes sat at a booth next to them and their necks must have been sore from turning to stare at it all night long. In fact, when she covered it up at one point, the old men protested by telling her that they were enjoying the view. It soon came back out to play. If you love Warwick trash, you’ll love watching the people at Gridiron. Oh yeah, they have nice TVs too.

Came in this past weekend for drinks and dinner. Nice clean and spacious bar, definitely a good place to hang out with friends and check out the game. Also, a small outdoor seating area, which is nice for summer nights. Decent beer selection, and I like the fact they display the Beer Advocate rating, not many bars share that information. I ordered a cheeseburger club with fries. The sandwich was pretty good, nothing spectacular but not disgusting by any means. Pretty decent. Fries were average, a little greasy and seemed to have been sitting to long in the oil in my opinion. A nice casual place, i’m sure we will be back. If not for food, definitely a few beers and a game.

Recent visit on Sunday to watch BOS vs. OAK. Decent amount of beers on tap and TVs to make sure we saw the game. Decided to have lunch. My grilled ham and cheese was awesome and my husband enjoyed the nachos. It seems like the place has a large amount of regulars(the people who wake up in the morning to go sit somewhere and drink) but they were social and harmless. We will be going back soon, maybe on a Friday.

Just not a fan. It was very sterile feeling on the inside. The tables were fold out but the tops were meant to look more like stone to have a rugged look. It has been cleaned up a bit since it’s last incarnation, but the space is awkward and more industrial than inviting.

The most important thing you will notice between the old bar that was here and the new bar is it is clean. Very clean. There looks to be a change of ownership and a large investment in the place. I had a burger and fries and they were served exactly the way you want them at a reasonable price. I did not have a beer because I was having a work lunch but the staff was great. Service was friendly and prompt.

A good sports bar with a decent menu and beer selection. As evidenced by the name, its focus is on being a good place to watch a Football game — rather than being just a regular bar that happens to have a couple TVs. The food is typical sports bar fare — think wings, pizza, burgers, potato skins and the like. They also some salads, wraps and other options if that’s your thing, and a few actual entrees. They have a good selection of beer, but the focus is definitely on Bud, Coors and such. The prices are good — especially if you’re used to Providence prices. Service is good, and the crowd were all there to watch the game. There weren’t any little kids at the bar(which always creeps me out a bit) so it’s okay to yell when the football gods bless or curse your team.
