I had an absolutely great time at coquito! Went for my sisters birthday and food was delicious. She had cod fish with pigeon pea rice and I had two sangria a white/red. I preferred the white more than red since red was a bit sour. Also the cranberry martini was amazing, server was extremely friendly and DJ was a great top off. Crowd after 930 was older and reservations for 830 tables get to keep their table which is a great plus !

Coquito is my favorite restaurant in Orange County! The food and pricing are perfect and best part is the atmosphere. You feel like you’re an upscale restaurant in New York City. Highly recommend!

Best Latin cusine you will find anywhere. The place is spotless, well decorated, and just really comfortable. The service is friendly, professional, and simply outstanding. Food and drink is of top quality. Try the skirt steak and shrimp light on the garlic. Empanadas are great. Salad that comes with the entrée has coconut flakes and walnuts. Really unique, with a light dressing. Desserts are homemade. Try the Tres Leche with their signature steamed coffee. Coconut Mojito is excellent. Came here two times and both were awesome. Great job Coquito and thanks for a great time on my son’s first Halloween as well.

Coquito’s has the fabulous Latin food. The owners are so personable and the wait staff is fantastic(with honorable mention to Maria.) The paella and pasteles are the best I’ve ever had! Annette & Bill, I wish you all the best on the upcoming next chapter of your lives.

When I arrived at Coquito I had no idea what I was in for. The location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but it seems to be extremely popular with the locals. I started off with a Crabmeat Empanada appetizer and a Coquito to drink. I never had crabmeat empanadas but it was interesting and tasted good. As for the Coquito, if the owner or general manager is reading this — PLEASE stop using Coconut flavored liquor to make Coquito! It’s a border line insult to Puerto Ricans and I was not impressed with the drink at all. It tasted good, but it is definitely not something I would consider as Coquito. The arroz con pollo w/chorizo was AMAZING. I HAVE to repeat, it was AMAZING. They serve it in a pot with more than enough food to fill up 2 people despite it being a single serving. I will 100% be going back to Coquito despite the location being a 50 minute drive from my house. It’s definitely worth checking out. Pros + Service + Décor + Clean bathroom + Menu choices + Arroz con pollo w/chorizo Cons — Coquito

The food here was great. I stopped here with my girlfriend randomly on our way home, passing through Warwick and it ended up being a great choice. I ordered the mahi mahi with yellow rice and my girlfriend got creole chicken with plantains and everything was great.

Finally got to go there and it was great. Had steak and shrimp both were cooked perfectly. Apple crisp for dessert was great as well. Place gets very crowded on a Saturday night and plenty loud so be prepared for that. Nice menu options. Def would go again.

The food was excellent. Definitely a good change from your typical Italian or burger joint. Drinks were great, salads were original, main course portions were large, and the price was right. We will be coming back.

My wife and I tried this place a while back and it was just not good, but we decided to give it another try the other day and it was amazing. This time we went when it wasn’t so busy and the food came out fast. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was full of flavor, we ordered the pinchos to start, then the coquito pork and chicken for the entrée. The meat was grilled to perfection, just so tender and the sauce that come with it was mind blowing. Didn’t stay for dessert, but I’m sure it would have been awesome. Can’t wait to go back.

Living in Orange county for 5 years I’ve been desperately searching for a latin lounge with a mature clientele. Earlier this year, we had a very enjoyable dinner experience at this restaurant. However, this review is mostly to apprise you of the Saturday night entertainment. We arrived around 10pm(no cover charge). I walked in and was taken by surprise to see so many people having fun on the dance floor. I noticed there were still plenty of people finishing their dinner plates. Most people were fashionably dressed which I really liked. The music was good. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. HONORABLEMENTION: JESSICA. My wife and I, both in our early 40’s, danced to a combination of mostly salsa, some mainstream hip-hop, a little pop and very little merengue. Personally, I thought the DJ was ok but I would have loved it if he had played some more modern latin music. That’s just a thought, the dance floor was active and we still enjoyed ourselves. This location is in a quiet part of town so use your GPS or you may drive right past it. I am so glad I found this place. We will definitely be back!

Moved up to Jefferson Township last September and since then my girlfriend and I been trying to find a Spanish restaurant worth going. Thanks to Unilocal we found COQUITO In Warwick NY. From the minute we walked in we were impressed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Now down to the food. The food was excellent. The shrimp pincho was delicious. I had the masa de cerdo with yuca fries and my girl had the pernil with arroz con gandules OMG everything was off the hook. The drinks were on point, my girl had this drink with guava that was WOW!!! Can’t wait till Saturday they have a Dj and we’ll definitely be there. Thanks COQUITO

This restaurant has become a spot for my wife and I whenever we want to go out to a nice dinner. Sometimes it tends to be a bit loud, but it’s very lively and that’s the atmosphere they have built. The food and drinks are great. For apps, we each get an empanada. I’ve had many different meals there, but find myself keep coming back to the Coquito Burger with Tostones on the side. My wife loves the Spanish rice. For dessert, get the tres leches cake. Phenomenal! If you’re looking for great Latin food and a lively atmosphere, this is a great place to check out.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch after a morning of apple picking. When we arrived we were the only ones there and it was cool to have the restaurant to ourselves for a short while. Our server was real sweet and patient as we took forever deciding what to order because everything looked soo good. Within the hour of our arrival, a large private party arrived and people just started coming in back to back. The restaurant was definitely understaffed and unprepared for the amount of people coming in to eat which is the reason they didn’t get 4 stars. Our server stated they get really packed at night and on the weekends. We were lucky enough to get there early and leave before the crowds came. The décor is really sleek and modern and they did a great job giving off that Latin vibe. Now to the food, I ordered the pernil sandwich with arroz con gandules which was absolutely delicious. The bread was soft and warm just like I like it and the pernil was very tasty. The arroz con gandules I could’ve ate by itself as a regular meal that’s how yummy it tasted. I would love to check this place out on the weekend and be a part of the experience and simply hang out listening to some great music and eating some tasty Latin food.

I visited this restaurant for lunch while visiting the apple orchards in the area. They have a private parking lot which had plenty of available spaces. There was only one staff person present to attend to the customers which caused being greeted and assisted to take sometime. However, the waitress was very friendly and helpful. I did feel bad for the waitress who tried her best to attend to everyone while the restaurant slowly filled with large parties. The restaurant itself was decorated in a modern but beautiful style. I tried their signature drink coquito to start and it was delicious. I must say that it was one of the best tasting versions of coquito that I have tried in a while. For my meal I ordered a pernil sandwhich with arroz con gandules. I wasn’t very impressed with the pernil(This maybe due to the fact that I have tasted slow roasted homemade pernil) but it was good. I was much more fascinated with my side dish which was absolutely the best part of my meal. The restaurant is a bit expensive in my opinion but who knew Warwick, NY could have such delicious puerto rican food!

Very good Latin American food in a very fun and lively atmosphere! I had the pernil, which was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tender. My wife had the breaded steak which had an excellent crust on it. For appetizer we had pasteles and empanadas. The pasteles were amazing. The empanadas were a little too salty, but had good flavor. The only negative was that they were out of tres leches cake, so we settled for the apple crisp, which was bland and we didn’t even finish it.

A nice hidden gem in the town of Warwick. My cousins and I visited Ochs Orchard this weekend for some apple picking fun and stopped here for lunch afterwards. There were only a handful of tables occupied when we arrived and what appeared to be only one woman running the shop but she was friendly and attentive during our entire meal. For appetizers, we ordered the empanadas and the pasteles; both of which were delicious. The empanadas were made in a white flour shell and the pasteles were served in a banana leaf with delicious bits of meat and beans! Our mains were even more delish as we devoured the shrimp mofongo and cuban sandwich. The mofongo was flavorful and very filling and the yuca fries served with the sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in a long while! Crunchy but tender and boy oily at all! Attentive service, great food and a nice atmosphere ranks Coquito as a great find in my book!

It was our first time here and we were very positively surprised. My wife had the Mahi Mahi, I the Paella for one and it was the best one I had in 15 years. I got spoiled in Ibiza ;) The Interior looks upscale and like something you would expect in NYC but not in Warwick. The Margaritas were very good. The Waitresses were very friendly and professional.
