Overpriced, lied to, zero organization is just the start. Ordered a $ 9.10 grinder with two pieces of meat and excessive pickles to cover up having no banana peppered. Also, I was told the fry machine was down. Then the guy behind me orders onion rings. Wtf!?! Just say you’re out of fries!!! Another thing is the kitchen help should stay in the kitchen and stop flirting with the girls at the cash register. They also need to learn what goes on the sand which/​food or what comes with it. In 6 weeks the always run to another employee. Never eating in this establishment again.

I believe there is a new owner who is straight from Italy. Super nice, great service. The food is always great. Cheese danish like no other. Great addition to this area.

These people are idiots. Not once have they managed to make a complete order without either forgetting something or messing something up. I signed up for
Unilocal solely because they suck so bad, and felt that if I could save even one person the hassle of ordering from them it would be worth it.

Pastries look great. Sandwiches and deli offerings for lunch. Ordered a BLT. Very friendly staff, clean room with 5 tables.
Sandwich was lovely. Good taste, had it on a roll. There are not many good options in this part of town, and this is obviously a local favorite.

Ordered a cake for a birthday party. The cake was round, 2 layers and hugh. The yellow cake was super moist and the frosting was creamy (not too sweet) and soooo good. Even the non cake eaters at the party ate some. The prices were great !

They’ve been around for years and have always had great food. Definitely a good bakery for apponaug, hopefully it brings it back.

Was so excited to have a new bakery and deli. Went there to try the pastries, I got an éclair and tiramisu cake. The tiramisu cake did not at all have a coffee flavor to it, it just tasted like frosting it was horrible I took one bite and threw it out. The éclair was a huge let down to, the chocolate one top tasted like it was from a can you could buy at stop n shot and the filling was nothing special. I will never be going back here. How hard it is to make a simple éclair and tiramisu? I’ve have better at Olive Garden it was sad…

Pure awesome. Great sweets, great food. It’s quaint and friendly. We also had catering done for our party and they will make anything you want. The pizzas are huge and delicious. If you’re in town I recommend this bakery/​deli.

The quality and consistency of their sandwiches is outstanding. My favorite, hot Pastrami is wonderful! Every time we’ve eaten there, we’ve been very pleased.

The baked goods are in the 90^th percentile. The sandwiches are as big as my arm and fed me 4x. And I’m 6’4 240. I had the pulled pork and the pastrami. I wanna try them all now. Like right now.
Lovely RI pizza strips. The magic Red Pie. It’s all about the sauce.
Meatballs stuffed with more meat and cured meat… Fogettaboutit.
Best Chicken Escarole soup I’ve ever had. I tossed the spoon and drank the quart.

Saying that I am thrilled to have a bakery back in the neighborhood is an understatement… the fact that it is a quality bakery makes me head-​over-​heels happy!
You could very easily miss the store front when driving toward it on the one-​way Apponaug race track (aka Apponaug rotary). Smart move on their part to fly a «Bakery» flag from their doorway…
The best way to pin point the location.?It is just before the Warwick Town Hall, right across the street. So, stay in the right lane as you head toward the town hall and be prepared to turn quickly into their parking lot just after you see their flag. (I live in the area and had to do a second approach because I could not get over to the right lane…)
Hard crusty Italian loaves and rolls, classic frosted cupcakes and a Bismarck full of whipped cream (the REAL stuff) could round out any meal at home… or a welcome hostess surprise!
A catering menu also promises some good tasty values…
They do have seating, but cramped and limited table space make eating at home (or in the car) a better idea.
Dicey driving destination aside, this bakery IS worth a trip.

We are so happy that Borrelli’s opened near us. Apponaug was in need of a bakery and when we visited here after it opened we weren’t expecting them to have a deli as well. On our first visit we got treats for the kids. These aren’t wussy sized items and the prices were phenomenal. Today my husband and I stopped in for lunch and the sandwiches were great.
About $ 14 for 2 sandwiches and drinks and the smalls were plenty big.
They also have lots of prepared foods like meatballs for $ 1 each and baked stuffed shrimp, and soups/​sauce to go. The woman behind the counter said the baker makes different items each day depending on his mood. The only drawback is that there is limited seating — only 3 or 4 small tables.
I hope this is the beginning of the revitalization of Apponaug that they’ve been talking about for the past 20 years!

Baked goods are incredible. They use the best, freshest ingredients for their cannolis. I have heard the owner talk about them. Takes great pride. They have a large deli selection. Can’t beat the bread. So glad they opened up a store here.
