We had ordered a custom built Ford E-350 van with just the equipment we wanted onboard, since this was to be used for our handicapped son’s wheelchair Ford Motor Company said this was the only authorized van conversation company Ford would allowed to cut the van’s roof(which later turned out to be a lie, more on that later) The order was placed in August and the van didn’t arrive at the dealership until April of the following year. And of course it was all done wrong, so what are you to do? Refuse to take delivery, as a result Explorer had to send a trailer here to pick it up and return it to the factory, en route the windshield had been broken(they used an open trailer versus an enclosed one(why do that? it was a brand new van ?) So unknown to us when they replaced the windshield(with one from the wrong model year) during a massive rain storm months later the inside of our new van looked like your morning shower stall, would they take responsibility heck no, they blamed Ford(why would the factory put the wrong one in ?) needless to say neither would do anything and we must pay to have part of the interior replaced(locally) as well as replacing all the onboard auxiliary electronics(Tv, DVD, etc) Learn from our mistake, we have a 75,000.00 van that was ruined due to their stupidity and laziness, NEVER, NEVERBUYONEOFTHEIRVANSORYOU’LLHAVETHESAMEPROBLEMSASWEDID, You Have Been Warned
