Disalvo’s Pizzeria & Sub Shop

Worst pizza I’ve ever had. The sauce had no flavor and there was barely any cheese. If you want pizza from Warsaw, I’d just suggest Tops Market’s pizza because it is the best you’re going to get in Warsaw. This place sucks and I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone.

If you are from Warsaw (or the surrounding area) then you know what this place is. It is simply the best pizza place in existence. What is good about the pizza? I can’t even really describe it. It has a spicy sauce that you don’t get many other places, the cheese is always nice and greasy, and it just is awesome.
I haven’t lived in the area for several years now, but my parents still do, and every time I go home I can’t help but stop in and eat some pizza (that is, if we haven’t already had it for dinner).
Perhaps its because it was basically the only pizza in town for years, or maybe it has some magic ingredient that no one knows about, but no matter how much other pizza I eat and think might be better, this is always my favorite pie anywhere that I go.

I just want to thank the kind woman behind the counter at Disalvo’s Pizzeria! We were passing though on a long drive from Toronto to Baltimore. That morning we attended the funeral for my dear aunt who passed away suddenly.
In my tired and sad state, I left my wallet in the bathroom! But the kind woman who served us found it after we left and handed it to the Chief of Police!
It’s nice to know there are honest and kind people in the world! Especially ones that would help out a stranger! Thank You!

I wish I had more time to sample the menu… sandwiches and burgers looked great! We just got slice special and scooted out of town. Service was fine, pizza was ok, but I’ll go back to try the «brunch burger» or the «big John».

Horrible service and the worst pizza I’ve had in a long while. Also ordered onion rings – which could have been decent (probably frozen, like the pizza dough), but were burnt.
Giving it an extra star because it just might be the only non-​chain eating option in Warsaw, but I doubt the locals care – just like I doubt this place cares about the food it serves.

Quite possibly the worst pizza I never eaten. Ordered a slice at lunch time and it was heavy on the burned dough, very very lite on cheese and sauce. Absolutley flavorless. Stay away!!!

I miss Disalvos pizza and hamburger subs!!! Truly greasy yummmy pizza!
