Great Chinese food in a beautiful setting. There was a wide variety of options, and the selections my family and I made were all excellent, and pricing was very reasonable. We enjoyed every bite! The service was nice. We were warmly welcomed by the owner upon arrival, and were also checked up on later in the evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Hands down the best Chinese Asian restaurant in the area. You can tell by the service and attention to customers that it is a family owned and run restaurant. The décor was lovely and the small heavy back tea pot reminded me of my trips to Shanghai.
I started with their excellent Won Ton soup. The wontons were light and fresh and the broth was simply delicious. The steamed chicken pot stickers were also excellent. The Singapore Angel Pasta was very tasty without being too spicy. This is my new Go To Chinese restaurant.

Went there for a quick meal on Friday night. We got the chicken broccoli. And cashew chicken. Very good seasoning and ample portions to keep us satisfied but not overly filled. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The main woman is super sweet and was going up to every table making sure they enjoyed their meals. Lovely little place for a nice Chinese meal.

Really good Chinese food in doylestown at last. Fast and friendly service and nice presentation. Try the cumin Lamb and any of the black bean sauces. On request you can get the hot dishes cranked up to the authentic levels, so they handle the non Cantonese dishes very well indeed. Definitely a great deal and Large portion s.

Food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Wonton soup, lettuce wraps and Singapore noodles were all tasty. Nothing was overly salty or greasy which I sometimes find other Chinese restaurants serving.

I definitely agree with other reviewers — this is the best Asian cuisine in the area. The best word to describe the food is fresh, fresh, fresh! I have had many dishes and all are freshly-prepared and not your typical fare. The menu offers various styles — from sushi to Szechuan — all exceptional. I have been back several times and food and service is always perfect.

We happened to be in the area and wanted a quick bite. We found Mai Ting and so glad we tried it! The restaurant was really clean. The hostess and server were friendly. We really liked being able to order both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. I started with miso soup and my boyfriend had wonton. For our entrée I had shrimp pad Thai and my boyfriend had shrimp lomein. We really enjoyed our food. The pad Thai was big enough for 2 servings. We will definitely go back when we are in the area.

The best chinese food in the area. I haven’t tried the Japanese rolls yet but will definitely try it next time. Had beef and with spicy peppers — delicious! Loved the Chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. Even my kids loved it too! They want to order that for entrée next time. Comfortable seating, nice décor. I do not like dirty smelly chinese take out places. This restaurant is definitely not that kind of place.

Nice find. Owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We have been here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. We have got Japanese and Chinese, both used fresh ingredients and well prepared. Pot stickers are our favorite…

Portions more than justified the prices — large enough for family style sharing. Presentation was also beautiful, and I really enjoyed the décor. They managed to incorporate a lot of traditional Chinese and Japanese design concepts without being over-the-top, cliché, or stereotypical. Fusing the precise, high detail embellishments of Chinese aesthetics with Japanese wabi-sabi is no small feat. As an adamant urbanite, I was only in this area to attend a wedding. I’ve lived a very spoiled life when it comes to Chinese food. I’ve lived in SoCal, San Francisco, and Boston, which has a very legitimate Chinatown, though I hear it’s being gentrified into oblivion as we speak. And I was pleasantly surprised by my meal here given its incredibly suburban location. Especially given that we had fled here to get away from another restaurant down the street that made TGI Friday’s look classy. I found the food fresh and delicate compared to a lot of standard cheap eats Chinese take out places that load their food up with grease and glop. This place is much more sophisticated. The friend I dined with is from a Chinese-American family, and had flown down from Boston to attend the wedding with me. We had a really interesting conversation about the fact that Americans don’t like paying normal restaurant prices for Chinese food, that we devalue what we title«ethnic» cuisine compared to European and nouveau American(read: white) fare. Look at the reviews here complaining about the price and ask yourself whether anybody would complain the same way about French or Italian food. And, honestly, they’re not even that high. Where I live in Washington you’re lucky to find entrees under $ 20 in most sit-down restaurants that don’t specialize in the fried or the pre-frozen. And I ended up paying $ 8.99 for freakin’ mediocre, overfried onion rings at TJ Smith’s just up the road from here, thus prompting our exit and ultimate arrival at Mei Ting in the first place. And, in a nice continuation of that theme, the owner(I think) came by our table to ask how we liked it, was lovely, and told us that one of their goals was to elevate their cooking from the levels typically associated with cheap, greasy Chinese food. She told us the amount of care that goes into making their dumplings in-house by hand. We didn’t get a chance to try them before leaving, but had we been in the area longer we would have and I’m sure they would have been amazing. My sushi was excellent as well, and I found service to be very attentive. The food came out hot and fast. I never wanted for a drink refill. I think the only flaw was that my friend didn’t feel her dan-dan noodles were nearly as spicy as her mother makes them. So, if your view of Chinese food is limited to notions of cheap, greasy take out delivered to you in a plastic bag with those awful splintery chop sticks that you have to pull apart yourself, and you can’t wrap your head around the notion of Chinese food ever being anything more than that, you should probably stay away. But if you’re interested in an actual sit-down restaurant with thoughtful food and attention to detail, in an environment with stylized décor, this place is definitely worth a visit.

First time here. Overpriced for mediocre Chinese Food. It appears they had a sizable budget to renovate the old sports store. Shame because the designer was off his game. Not a comfortable space. Portions are small, food arrived cold. The dishes were returned hot in seconds, chicken & broccoli was rubbery, so I’m guessing a microwave was involved. Also had a salmon sushi roll for an app. No better than supermarket sushi with little salmon. Wanton soup($ 4.00) was good. Disappointing…

VERYPRICY!!! Went there for dinner few nights ago… charged $ 4 for a pot of hot tea!!! the food and service are both ok, portion size are little small but then i dont know where do they come up with their pricing…$ 14 for Chicken Broccoli, $ 19 for Shrimp Broccoli… everything is about $ 3-$ 5 more than all the near by Asian restaurants… don’t think i would be going back again…

The Doylestown area needs a place like this. Our family of four tried a range of entrees — sushi, pad thai and sesame chicken. All were fresh and delicious. The sesame chicken didn’t have the heavy breading and fat that you often find at other restaurants. The décor is well done. We’ll definitely be back.

This is the best sushi I’ve had in the area(Warrington/Jamison). The have decent lunch specials and while the food is exactly what you’d expect, it’s very well prepared. Husband got the General Tsaos chicken and agreed it’s the best in the area. Décor is gorgeous, very comfortable and not over the top. Nice little bar area, too. If we are craving local Asian food, this will be our first stop!

The food here is amazing and there is a great variety of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. My husband and I had sushi, soup, scallion pancakes, Mongolian beef and drunken noodles with beef. I recommend all of it! The staff was attentive and pleasant. I will definitely be back!

I have been to many different asian restaurants. Mei ting is a fusion of multiple types of Asian food all found in one place. Makes me want to dine here multiple times a week. Food is top notch. Will want to keep coming back to try the whole menu! The atmosphere is beautiful and an extremely friendly staff. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
