I was there several times, their cut is not bad, if you give them a direction. I got ombré with …, she turned my hair very orangish. I was like a person who use Henna on hair. I was very disappointed. They charged me a high price $ 250, which l found l was getting a way different price and quality in upscale beauty salon in Doylestown. I won’t go there again! Just search and find a better salon around!

Had an excellent cut by Jess, who was a doll and so friendly. Salon is so overpriced, which is a shame because I loved my cut. I was unfortunately fooled by the colorist though (Mary Luz). I asked for something specific which she didn’t listen to, and then as I was paying I noticed she had scammed me into buying expensive product which I never agreed to. I was duped and I’ll never go there again. If you do, have Jess do your cut. I’d give her five stars.

Jess is the BEST hair stylist out there. Seriously. I have non-​uniform wavey/​Curley hair & she is amazing at smacking it into shape. I’d been seeing Jess for several years & loved her, but then moved out of the area. I’ve been to my fair share of salons in my adult life (10~15?) and over the past 2 years have gone to Citrus & L’Etoile. Stylists at both places did not listen to my wishes (layers & thinning) and I ended up with a head of expensively-​cut hair that looked like a dust mop. UGH! Thankfully we moved again & last week I was thrilled to have my hair cut by Jess again! Amazing. Seriously amazing. I have no comment on the coloring or other things they offer, but if you have hair, have Jess cut it! She works tues/​wed & Saturdays. :)

it is an upscale salon and very expensive. however i’ve had my hair done here several times and they always do a great job. they are especially great at dying hair and doing highlights. i just stopped going b/​c it cost too much.

I have been a customer at Carmine’s for 20 years. I have had 3 stylists during that time, as well as gotten an updo for my wedding, and I used to get my nails done there when they used to offer that service. I have always been very happy there and each of my stylists was great in her own regard. I still look forward to going there to talk to my stylist and have her cut my hair. The styles have always been flattering and they will offer you advice if you want it, but I have never had anyone balk if I thought the style they suggested was not for me. I also use their colorists who are terrific! I don’t ever come out looking like a skunk or with ridiculous color that is not flattering to me. Everyone is nice and very welcoming and I will continue to go here. I definitely recommend Carmine’s! They also have an equal amount of older clientele vs young, so don’t get trapped into thinking it’s too progressive. It’s whatever you want it to be and the girls will make you feel at home and send you out looking good!
