The trail was walkable for a half mile with no need to worry about tall grass. It looks like maintenance has been down to the first section. So for a mile round trip hike it is a good spot right now. However, at the half mile the trail starts to be over grown. It is peaceful here. I spotted a deer and many sparrows in a large clearing.
