On The Road Again Mobile Mechanic

Just got back from a 80 mile round trip drive to Warrenton to have my 2004 Prius hybrid battery replaced. Ryan went out of his way to make sure that he could do it today (Friday) as I need the car to go to North Carolina on Monday. Price was good, car works and Ryan was a pleasure to deal with. He dropped me at Panera’s where I was able to use their wifi and work while he repaired the car. He’s one of the few people in the DC area (if you include Warrenton in the DC metropolitan area) who installs a Dorman reconditioned battery. These are rated as the best and have a three year warranty. Ryan also warranties his work, so I’m good to go.

Ryan went above and beyond in completing an axle bearing job on my landcruiser. He was proactive in ordering parts beforehand, and when obstacles popped up, he went out of his way to be sure that my schedule was not interrupted. Ryan made sure the job was done right, even when it meant increased time and cost for him.

A GIGANTIC Thank You to Mr. Ryan Bascom of On The Road Again: Mobile Mechanic for coming to our rescue this morning! My wife was driving our GMC Yukon Denali to meet her carpool buddy at O’Dark Thirty when the GMC’s alternator decided to implode.
Ryan, in absurdly frigid weather, came to my office, picked up the keys, performed troubleshooting, found and expedited the parts, installed and tested and we are, as they say «Back on the Road Again»!

I have had OTRAMM & Ryan do some extensive work on my 1997 Land Cruiser — things from suspension air bags to most recently the head gasket and some front axle work. I really appreciate his honesty and willingness to explain what he is doing and why his recommended fix is the best option. I have some basic mechanical skills and knowledge, having restored/​rebuilt a 40 year old vehicle, so I can tell when a mechanic is not being straight with me. Ryan is a straight shooter and he is not looking to pad the bill. He tells me everything I want to know, and he works hard to find me the best prices on parts.

First rate mechanic! I needed front brakes, an oil change, and a new timing belt & water pump for our minivan after the water pump blew. Ryan was fast, efficient, and was much less expensive than other estimates. He took the time to research the best price for the best quality parts, continuously emailed me to keep me up to date, and thoroughly explained everything he was doing during the repair. As an active duty military member who moves around the country, it’s tough to find a good mechanic who you can trust. Ryan is the guy and I won’t use anyone else. He has my highest recommendation!

I’ve now had Ryan work on three cars — a brake job, an ABS module and some bodywork. Every time he’s been on time, had done an unbelievably concientious job and has been very affordable. I highly reccomend him.
