Staff is courteous, fun and explains policies thoroughly to the patients. The doctor has a quick wit and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of dermatology. The PA is great too! Their MedSpa also has 2 wonderful estheticians.

I have used Dr. Lawerence Finkel several times over the last few years. He has always been very professional, friendly and Knowleadgeable, finds a quick solution for any issue that I have had. I would never trust my family to anyone else in the Northern Virgiania area, for any of our dematology needs.
His office staff has been nothing but extremely nice and helpful, from the first call to his office to setting my appointments to the warm and smiling faces that greet me when I arrive. I never find myself having to wait a long time or feeling uncomfortable as you do in some doctors offices.
They always have been welcoming to any of the medical insurance programs I have had, which has changed hands a couple of times on me.
My over all rating to Dr. Lawrence Finkel and his complete office staff, including his wonderful caring office manager… is TOP NOTCH. BEST OF THE BEST… they get a 10 ‚

Excellent doctor! Called for an appointment within days of having a lesion appear out of nowhere in my forehead. I was given an appointment quickly, within a couple days. The doctor was very nice and told me he suspected it was skin cancer and removed the lesion for testing. It was positive for skin cancer and I had to have further excision by a surgeon. Overall he was very nice and correctly diagnosed the lesion by looking at it. Although it is very unusual to have a skin cancer pop up overnight and it was frightening to have a large incision on my face, it healed beautifully with no irregularity on my face. I’m an RN and I would highly recommend this doctor. Nice office staff too. Five stars! Thank you! Nancy Y.

I’ve had two visits a year apart with Dr. Finkel. The first visit he was nice, informative and professional. I followed up a year later on some moles he had deemed suspect during our first visit and some places I was told may be pre-​cancerous. Wow, what a difference a year made. He was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY CREEPY.
While in the examining room with me alone, he had me take the paper robe off and glanced at a couple of moles and asked what was my problem as if he had never told me to follow up and there was nothing wrong. Then he stepped back with the paper robe still in his hands and said «what else»?? I pointed to the places on my legs and he glanced from about 4 feet away and said it’s nothing — and asked who told me it was pre-​cancerous? I asked him if there was any way to get rid of them as these spots (whatever they are — he never did tell me) have gotten worse over the years and I think they are ugly and embarrassing. He said no, and I pressed further about any cosmetic procedure to remove them, anything? He then pulled out a tool to freeze moles off and zapped one spot on my leg for several seconds. He again stood back and asked «will that be all?»
I honestly couldn’t believe the difference in this man from a year ago. I’ve worked in a doctors office before and my father is a physician. I thought to myself this man cannot be this stupid, he must be crazy — here I am half nude, alone in here with him and he’s acting like a complete jerk. If I were one of those people I could make all kinds of accusations. By far, this was the most uncomfortable and unprofessional interaction I have ever had with any physician.

These guys are CROOKS. After going there for a cosmetic procedure they not only billed me IN FULL for the procedure but also billed my insurance for an office visit, and charged me a $ 60 specialist co pay on top of the cost of the procedure. They told me they were billing the office visit because I got a «consultation» since we spent a maximum of 5 minutes discussing other cosmetic procedures besides the one I got.
I argued that if they want to bill for a consultation, it needs to be disclosed up front because it is not standard practice to bill for them. They argued that it was in fact normal.
When I told them they were committing insurance fraud by billing my insurance for discussing things that arent coverd by insurance, it didnt seem to phase them. When I told them I would report them to my insurance company they told me that insurnace will pay them in the end.
I told them I would post a complaint onlie and they told me they have been in business for 10 years and that they will make it through my complaint.
The customer service was AWFUL and the staff was rude and unaccomodating. They are completley unethical and are obviously only out for the money. They could care less about customer satisfaction.
I will never go back to those dishonest people again.
