This was on my bucket list but I have a fear of heights AND water. I worked on both those fears here. The staff was very accommodating to my fears and made me feel very safe and I had an absolute blast… I cannot say enough good things about High life adventures and their staff! Looking forward to going back!

Loved every minute! The zip-swing combination at the end was spectacular and made this the best zip line course we’ve been on. Fun, friendly staff too.

What a fun day! My husband took me here for my birthday and it was the best. The guides Jack and Bryant were awesome, really focused and full of humor. My suggestion is to go ahead and the full dunk and the add on zwing well get your attention. I was scared t do that but so glad I did. They are open all year too. Winter headlamp night zips. Well worth the dollars.

The reviews and the ratings tell all; High Life Adventures is a top zip line operator with 8 zip lines totaling in length over 1 mile. Each zip line is unique and nestled in a beautiful setting amongst trees and lakes. This was my first zip line experience with my partner and we did not quite know what to expect. You start out with short zips to get the feel of it; later it’s longer zip lines with greater heights. The experience well exceeded our expectations and we plan to do it again!

Agree with all reviews. A little spendy, but at 61 yrs old, I had to experience it. And 8 lines in such a beautiful location cinched it for me. I jumped off of the fence and onto the zip line! I wasn’t sure if I’d balk, but the gradual intro to the length and slope of the lines as well as the awesome and engaging personalities of guides Sheena and SJ made it a breeze. A walk in the park! So glad I did it! Nancy Gresham

Fun afternoon with our grandchildren ages 11 to 16 and our daughter and son-in-law. Brian and Chris did a great job. The hard hats with names was a little added fun thing.

I will start this by saying, THISPLACEDESERVESMOREREVIEWS! I booked a Zip session for my girlfriend and I for her birthday because it was something she really wanted to do on our trip to the Oregon coast and we have never been zip lining before anywhere other than a playground as kids haha… this is where I mention that I am deathly afraid of heights(I’m such a freaking baby I know) When we got to the property I got pretty nervous. though the beauty of the place really did distract me a bit, from the trees to the wood cabin they use as an office among other things, it was gorgeous. After getting our exact weights and waiting for the rest of the people to show up we were introduced to our guides and told to choose our helmets which all had different nicknames on them that made us all laugh, such a great ice breaker and helped to changed my mood from nervous to excited. This is where I will stop the play by play and just explain how wonderful the rest of the day went as a whole. The best part of the adventure was hands down our guides, John and Mary were two of the most perfect people anyone could have asked for. Mary was really sweet and helpful which made the experience so calming, my girlfriend really enjoyed their conversations about traveling and vacations: P. John was hilarious and just really seemed to love his work and the environment that he lives in, which really made us appreciate not just the area we were zipping in but the entire coast that we visited on our trip(oh and he’s a Goonie fan too, that’s freaking sweet!!). The comfort that my girlfriend and I both felt because of these two completely destroyed the fear I had going into this. The zips start off slow and gradually work their way up in height, speed and length which was perfect and every single one was a ton of fun. At $ 100 for 8 lines it’s a good deal IMO since there are a lot of places where it’s about $ 80-$ 100 for just 5 lines. In the end the experience was amazing, my girlfriend was happy and so was I. We are now looking forward to doing more zips in the future because of this, she had a great birthday :) THANKYOUHIGHLIFE! THANKYOUJOHNANDMARY!

This is my first time zip lining and frankly I’m glad I did it someplace like here rather than a more touristy place like Maui. But that also means I have nothing to compare it to except other recreational entertainment activities. There are eight zip lines ranging in length and speed for a total length of just over a mile. The young staff is very friendly and personable(well trained.) Our group had 9 people and the tour took almost 2.5 hours from gearing up to taking the group photo at the end and gearing down. Smaller groups will take less time. I think they may do larger groups up to 12 but I think 8 or 9 should be about max as the more people, the more wait time you are just standing around. There is really no amount of siginifcant hiking really. There’s a few places you need to walk 50 yards up a hill or stairs with maybe 50 – 75 feet elevation gain which will get your heart pumping a little. Note to all you impatient people out there young and old. It doesn’t matter if you go first or last, the wait time is the same. The person that goes first has to wait the longest on the other side waiting to proceed to the next line. The person that goes last, has virtually no wait time on the other side before proceeding to the next line. Think about it. First in, last out. Get it? You just need to decide if you want to spend time waiting around at the start or the end of the line. The lady who apologized for her kid always going first didn’t get it. So relax and be patient. The best thing about this«tour» is the property itself. The 30-acres with a lake is privately owned by an Eco-friendly lumber family that only logs fallen trees where also the wife happened to have a dream of having a zip line tour company. It’s a very peaceful and serene environment and they make good use of the lake on several of the zip lines. Without spoiling it, I’ll just say you WILL have the opportunity to get wet if you want. They have some other nice little touches, but I think it’s better to let them remain a surprise. I will mention they do have what they claim to be the only«Zip Swing» in the world which is essentially about a 10-foot cord you attached to instead of the zip line itself so when you jump off you have a mini-freefall then you swing under the zip line as you go down. A neat idea. Too bad they want you to pay $ 30 extra(or 30% more total) to do it. It’s at the end so by that time, many people are feeling gung-ho and pay the extra money. A very great marketing strategy. I didn’t do it. I’m a thrill seeker and it didn’t look that extreme at all. But to the more timid looking for a thrill, or those with money to burn, it may be worth it. Maybe more importantly, as one other reviewer pointed out, the upcharge tactic can be a bit uncomfortable for families that can’t afford it while the kids watch other people get to do it and not them. Maybe a wise choice as far as making extra money, but not a wise choice in my opinion as far as trying to avoid putting anyone in an uncomfortable situation. So why only 4 stars? Well, when you think about it, excluding the wait time(which at times can be entertaining) I estimate you spend less than 8 minutes actually zip lining. The cost of an Adult at $ 100 is approaching the cost of a 1-day ticket to Disneyland.(Granted if you don’t plan your day very wisely, you’ll be waiting around a lot more at Disneyland than here.) Yes, they are two completely different experiences, but in my opinion, the big picture entertainment value isn’t that great compared to other things you can spend that kind of money on(like a 2-tank SCUBA dive in the Caribbean or quite a few laps at a good/fast Go Kart track.) It’s not a rip-off by any means, just a bit pricey for what you are actually getting in my honest opinion. I’m sure I’m in the minority though being that it just takes something a bit more extreme(like a roller coaster going from 0 – 80 in 3 seconds) to impress me. These zip lines aren’t that extreme but everyone’s experience will vary depending on your personality and I’d say they are fairly thrilling for your average Joe. I know I enjoyed myself and had fun and more importantly, it was an excellent, unique, and acessible activity to spend time with my kids doing. I’m just trying to be realistic. My gut on this is that for a zip lining tour, this can’t be run much better. If they had a couple more extreme lines and allowed you to do the swing without the extra cost, I’d easily give it 5-stars. But overall, the value is questionable and the $ 30 up charge for the swing at the end ended the otherwise great tour experience with a bit of a feeling of capitalistic over reaching.

What an adventure! This was a great experience. We had 7 in our group including my 75 yr old mom. The guides, Jake and Spencer were wonderful hosts. Really made the 2 hours a blast. They gave us a local history lesson along with a super fun time. On the last run there is a secret option for your ride. I’m not going to say what it was but try it for sure. Very exciting. A must do. I highly recommend you try High Life. A great time!

Never zipped before, nervous and excited about it. Hope I remember the rules, don’t touch anything metal, no flips, no jumping. I think the whole park heard my screams when I did my first line, it was like riding a roller coaster and waiting for the drop. On my last line, I already did several poses while zipping and did the cannonball for extra speed! I want to do this again! I felt safe because they just opened about 14 months ago so everything is new. Jake also said he checked the cables, knots and bolts a week before we zipped. I asked Ruth if she can push me, she can’t do it but you can tandem with someone as long as your combined weight is not greater than 300 pounds. Call if you are a big party, they can accommodate any size. They also have group rates. I highly recommend High Life Adventure!
