Fauquier Community Food Bank and Thrift Store

Easy location to find. Easy parking. Thrift shop. Food bank. Large drop off site for donations. I dropped 7 bags of good clothes and got my donation receipt for my itemized deductions! Easy peasy.
Thrift store has bikes. Furniture. clothes. shoes. cookware. knick knacks. and more.

This is one of my favorite thrifting spots! I stop in here at least once a week, maybe even twice. You’ll find the usual housewares, linens, books and media, a small selection of furniture and of course, clothing. The prices are pretty reasonable, and occasionally negotiable. There’s a room where you can stuff as much as you can in a brown paper bag and pay only $ 5.00. Liz, who is usually working the register, is so nice. To top it all off there’s often a plate of cookies or other goodies by the door that you can help yourself to. By the way, this place is also a food bank which is connected but in a separate building. I don’t know much about it, except that it’s available only to residents of Fauquier county.
