Colvin Floors

A friend recommended me to Colvin Floors when I had a water leak in my kitchen and the wood floors were ruined. They were the 4^th flooring company that I had come out and give me an estimate. During the initial consult I knew they were the company I wanted to use because they were the first to actually listen to my concerns and they were very knowledgeable when responding to my questions. I found all of the staff that I interacted with during the process to be professional, friendly and helpful. I visited the showroom to return the wood floor samples and they were very polite and answered all my questions. The installers were very professional and experienced and worked around my schedule. I liked that they are a small family owned business and they have all been working together for years. They were prompt in giving me the information I needed for my insurance company. And in the end, I have a beautiful new hardwood floor in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend them and I would not hesitate to use them again.

«Yesterday afternoon I had the worst customer experience of my life at Colvin Floors. While in the show room, I had turned to my wife and was discussing the cost comparison between a vinyl flooring option and or just putting down real heart pine flooring. I did not know which would be better for our application I was just not sure. I was just thinking out loud. When I hear from behind me «no way you aint get no heart pine for that» What did I hear? I turn around and the surly store clerk is telling me I am wrong? I have put heart pine flooring in during four different whole house renovations. I know what it costs to buy and install. I mention this fact when he looks at me and says in a not very pleasant tone «I aint getting in no pissing match about it!» throws down the sample flooring piece he was holding, in my direction and storms away?! What happen to common decency? How about «well I am sure both are good options let us know if we can be helpful?» I was thinking of spending my money with these folks? If this guy is any representation of their work and or customer service? No way. Steer clear of Colvin Flooring.

Great family owned and operated carpet shop right here in Warrenton, run by warm and friendly people. Flooring is installed by experienced professional in a timely manner. They’ve installed hardwood flooring in my master bedroom, carpeting in the hall, on the staircase, and in guest bedrooms, and vinyl in our bathrooms, and we’ve been happy with everything they’ve done for us. I have another job lined up for them now, and I’m sure they’ll provide another excellent experience.
