Pinetree Wellness Center and Spa

Love this spa! Have been going to Pinetree Wellness Spa for years and have never been dissatisfied. The owner Stephanie is genuinely committed to her clients having a satisfying experience and ensures the services are top notch! I go there regularly for massage, manicure, pedicure and facials. The spa is very clean, which to me is very important with services like these. Honestly, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

*There were 2 people in our party. I was given the full time but the other member was short the 15min. I understand setting up the time and which we were early. But to the professional it is key to keep to the full paid allocated time.
*The room was a little chilly but professional made up for the owner miss.
*I usually look for a secluded place and I was surprised to hear others in the hall. The owner should look into posting a sign like the no cell phone to please keep the volume low to respect those relaxing.
*I would have thought of having a relaxing room for folks to relax after the massage, this was not available and I am not sure due to the size it would warrant the ability to have such a feature.

After an exhausting day off that included errands and four appointments, I was truly looking forward to my nice relaxing massage.
Located in an office building behind Aviva Brick Oven Pizzeria, I had a bit of difficulty finding a spot in the over crowded parking lot. Even still, I arrived promptly for my appointment. I relaxed on a cozy couch in the huge waiting room. Receptionist Janae was kind enough to serve me a glass of strawberry water while I waited content with a Real Simple magazine. After about 10 minutes, I was greeted by Stephanie. The spa is fairly large, with a few massage rooms, facial rooms and a mani/​pedi area. The walls are painted in soothing colors with beautiful art work adoring the walls. The place appears very clean.
The linens in my massage room were brown (a good idea!), but even still they were obviously stained. My table was covered in a heavy silk embroidered comforter. I was scheduled for a hot stone massage. The technique was decent, although, even after I had advised to be careful with my neck (I suffered whiplash in a car accident) I still had to remind her to use less pressure. Also, they didn’t have a «wedge», so I wasn’t really all that comfortable laying on my stomach. What spa has no wedge? Another surprise, this is the second time in the local area that my masseuse spent a good deal of time on her posterior. I think someone on a stool rolling around my table banging into it kinda detracts from the experience. Granted, most people would be satisfied with a massage here. For me, I will continue my local search for the perfect hot stone massage. Did not find it here.

This is an update about Sara’s awesome facial! She knew exactly what my skin needed and recommended a PCA cleanser that has cleared up my skin tremendously. I also got a mani/​pedi from Sara for my birthday, and the polish lasted awhile before chipping. I haven’t tried the gel polish yet, but hear great things.

I had been searching for a place that would do a brazilian wax — The women were very professional and friendly!
I will continue to go back again and again — as necessary!
