Off The Hook

Hi found this restaurant fun to visit, like the bar area much more than dining area
Interesting the host/​woman maybe owner walks over to all the men and asks how their
food is and everything is ok. I have been there 4 times in one week and she has never approached me yet. Makes you wonder? anyways I’am there for the Ambiance and of course the Food and service TY

1^st off I am completely shocked that they only have 1 review… C’mon Pittsburgh, opinions and ratings are super useful for both the consumer and the business.
Anyway this place is on-​point. I have been here a few times now and the atmosphere is slightly upperclass (a rare find in Wexford) the food is good the service so far has been impeccable, Tonight we had «Chis» and she made us feel like her #1 priority even though the place was jammed packed. The food is super fresh and creative from the shrimp cocktail, grilled oysters and Chilean Sea Bass and the dessert was off the hook too. lol …You gotta go and check this place out!

So so, the apps were good. Place looks way better than the quality of its food and drink
The main dining room is very loud, so we ate in the bar.
I was embarassed for the young bartender, she squeezed lime bar garnishes with brown edges instead of cutting whole limes to make a margarita.
She used her hands to do so, not a reamer or press
She added club soda to the margarita and orange juice… This is a faux pas
She told me that she was told to add OJ and roses lime juice to a margarita… TOLD BY ANOTHER BAD, PITTSBURGH BARTENDER.
She tossed the drink back and forth from a hurricane glass to a shaker bottom, never hand shaking it or creating foam
Even though I told her a fresh squeezed margarita, she still added an artificial sours in it
It was hopeless
