Wendy’s

Oh man, the drive through employees are so rude! They shove your food out the window and close it as fast as they can. Forget asking for sauce or telling them they forgot your spoon because they do not care. I tried once and got the nastiest look. They get the order right, which is better than the other fast food places in the area. If you’re going to come here, go inside. There’s a nice lady that usually works the lobby.

I felt like I had used a time machine to travel to the future, or maybe Wendy’s just caught up with the present time. It had been years since I went to Wendy’s because, you know, I eat like a grown up now. But desperation came calling and curiosity got the best of me; that is, I wondered whether the Wendy’s burgers still hold up.
To my chagrin, Wendy’s burgers (for fast food burgers) are still better than McDonald’s and Burger King. It’s just more meaty than its competitors, and it’s essentially more filling. The Son of Baconator (with added lettuce, tomato, onion) was good — though I could have gone without the tub of mayo on it. I know that’s the fast food secret — «Hey, let’s dump half a bottle of mayo on this sonuva bitch!!» — but there should be a mayo limit. The fries are also satisfactory, though not sure they are better than McDonald’s.
Two things struck me on my first trip back in many years: the prices and the sizes. I ordered a medium Son of Baconator combo, and from the drink cup you’d think I have Super Sized it. No wonder morbid obesity is an epidemic! The futuristic pop machine is cool, though, except when the older lady in front of you tries every drink available. It’s not a sample machine, hunny!
Oh, and one combo + one chili and one fries cost almost $ 20. I don’t know how some of these places stay open…

Horrible! We threw away most of the food because it was not edible! Should have taken it back but instead we just chose to never return here again.

Food here is usually not served hot, buns are stale, and service is terrible. Fries were so salty they were inedible and not fresh. One of the burgers we ordered should have had two patties, but they only gave us one. Other Wendy’s are much better than this one.
