Fort Lauderdale, FL
It’s the only daily newspaper in a small rural Appalachian mountain town with a dwindling population of around 9,700 where there is little significant news to report. Though subject to a lot of criticism (a favorite local pastime) they have a rather good web site and seem to do a fairly good job considering the limitations of the area and the resources available to them.
