Small friendly place — good food. Limited menu but everything I have tasted was very good. Sandwiches and Brunch foods, Approx ten tables.

What a gem! I had the chocolate stuffed french toast with berries and it was wonderful! The place was very busy, so wait time for food was a bit long, but worth it. Our waitress, Peggy, was very knowledgeable about the menu items and super cheery. I didn’t mention the long wait for the food, but she apologized anyway and offered a complimentary cup of soup which was very tasty. I’m definitely coming back with friends. It’s not a place to grab a quick bite, but great when you have time to chat and enjoy the food and comfortable atmosphere. I only wish they would expand the hours!

I’m giving it for stars to begin with because it fills a void in the massively dark space that is Warren Michigan culture. I was out of my head when I found out there was a charming little café in the town I grew up in that I’ve always found myself leaving. I make sure to let people know of this wonderful option and I will stop in for the tasty choices, bubbly service and fair pricing. Blink and you may miss it. So don’t blink ;)

Wow. What a place! It’s a hole-in-the-wall but the food that comes from the kitchen is decadent and worth the wait. My husband surprised me with a visit to the Chocolate Gallery Café as part of my Christmas gift. Luckily there wasn’t a line! This place only has ten tables. Ten small tables. And there’s no waiting area, so if there’s a wait for a table, you’re stuck hanging outside. The service was verrrryyyyy slow. It took about fifteen minutes just for us to order. Once we ordered, the food took another twenty minutes or so. But what we ordered was hot, generous and delicious. I went with the day’s special, chocolate-stuffed French toast with berry compote. My husband got the Monte Cristo. Both dishes were HUGE. I wish I’d known how big the food was before ordering, because I’d have ask them to split it in half. I was too far from home to take leftovers. Bummer! If you like sweet and savory gut-bomb-type breakfasts, give this place a try. It’s small as hell and service can be slow, but the food they serve is worth it.

Tucked into a small stripmall in Warren. Parking on front is a but tough, but there is more in the rear. A small dining room, the kitchen looks as big as the dining room. Brunch foods, very cramped tables. One wall is mirrored to make the room look bigger. No soda fountain, but soda pop by the can. The food ranges from good to great. We did not try any of the chocolate deserts, but the fruit was fresh and good. The service is slightly slow, and the tables are so close together it is hard to ignore other table’s conversations.

Great stuffed french toast. Love that they use french bread rather than Texas toast. Very cozy nice place, felt like I was having breakfast at grandma’s. Only much more decadent.

This place is awesome. Super friendly staff and great food! I ordered the apple pecan French toast on special. It was amazing. I put a little syrup on in, but didn’t need it at all. I also ordered the chocolate raspberry cheesecake to go and it is sooo rich. Delicious Only reason for not having 5 stars is because the service is super slow. I believe there is only 1 waitress for the entire restaurant, so that slowed things down a bit. Will definitely be back in the future.

This place is a little small and doesn’t look all that impressive when you walk in, but the food is good and the service is amazing. I love going there and seeing this one server, I think her name is Peggy. She is soooo happy and nice. And it’s not fake. I believe she is genuinely happy to be there. She remembered my husband and I and we have only been to this place a few times.

Incredibly good breakfast, great service, really reasonable prices. It’s a fun, casual, funky, tiny place. I cannot recommend it more. Had a western omelette and the eggs caliente. Both great.

Small place, but huge personality and terrific food! The entire staff was so incredibly inviting and friendly… even the cook, who was constantly smiling. Had the eggs Benedict and walnut-Apple French toast… both delicious! We will be back!

What a great little place, with such a knowledgeable and an incredibly kind staff. There may not be a-lot of room here, as they only have about ten tables, but that just adds to the home feeling. I am not sure what my waitresses name was but she’s such a lovely enthusiastic being, that it made dining here an even greater experience! On to the food, I got myself the vegetarian Benedict, and I kid you not, finished everything on the plate. My friend got a tuna melt, and thought it was pretty cool how they served it on an English muffin instead. For dessert we got a chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and it was delicious! NOWTHISISWHAT I CALLBRUNCH! Next time I’m going to get myself the choco plate raspberry stuffed toast, and the lemon ricotta pancakes, cause it looks so yummy! they’re open from 8 am-2 pm, so come in early! They were pretty busy around the time I went(Sunday 12 pm), so try going anytime earlier if you can!

My wife and I went here after the St. Jude’s 5k Run at 10:00AM. I had the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast and she had the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict. Our server was Peggy and she was outstanding-so full of life, energy, charisma, and happiness. She made everyone in the entire room smile. She was attentive and she took our order quickly. The french toast was was fresh, warm, and delicious with the right amount of sweet and lots of strawberries. I also ordered a side of sausage links and we shared a side of bacon. My wife’s dish was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh. I took a bite of her dish and I realized that I probably should have gotten that-the best Eggs Benedict I have tasted. The food was moderately priced with a great value. I paid $ 36 with tip and we left full. The place is small and it is located next to a dance studio, so the parking lot gets packed. The tables, the silverware, and the bathroom were all clean. We will be back soon.

One word —- OUTSTANDING We had the lemon and ricotta pancakes and the chocolate chip pancakes. Both very good. The lemon ricotta cake is served with house made lemon curd(a guilty pleasure). Peggy the woman working the dining room is soooo nice. She is perfectly attentive and very friendly. Wish the world had more people like her. We will be coming back.

The breakfast here is great. We arrived at 9;30 am the place was empty, left at 10:30, it was full. I had the ricotta lemon pancakes, my husband had the eggs Benedict. Pancakes had homemade lemon curd that is spot on to what I make and the Benedict’s Hollandaise was rich, creamy and just as it was supposed to be. It’s a little hidden hole in the wall gem. Great for a home made breakfast and service was out of this world friendly. When I listened to the server describe the food after I asked a question, her spot on descriptive words put a smile on my face. And of course she was happy we visited and spent our time there! It might not be worth all the hype for some but for a homemade breakfast, close to home we will be back. It sure beats waiting 1.5 hours at some of the popular hipster places in RO or Ferndale.

We came here based on the plethora of other positive reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. I was surprised by how quickly this place filled to the brim with customers. We got there early so we didn’t have a wait, but it seemed that everyone and their brother came about 15 minutes after we sat down. The staff was very friendly and informative… so informative in fact that it sounded like they were reading off of a teleprompter, but in a strange and awkward way it was endearing. The food came out fairly quickly, and we were really satisfied with the service. I got the florentine 3 egg omelette(spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and swiss) that came with a side of potatoes and bread. I got the pumpernickel, which was thick and delicious, the potatoes had a nice flavor and texture, and I appreciated the green peppers, but I would have preferred the potatoes to be a bit more browned than they were. The omelette was good, but the cheese would be better if they folded it in or something as it didn’t melt very well on the top. My man got an order of the potatoes and a side of bacon. He enjoyed the potatoes, but also yearned for more crisp and brown to them, but the bacon was amazing. It was very thick cut and done up crispy, as requested. Overall I liked this place, and I’ll go back, but I feel like the prices are too high to have this be on our regular rotation.

This little joint is worth the wait(if you don’t show up early enough). A coworker and I went here for lunch. I was pretty skeptical at first due to the size of the place from the outside. We gave it a shot based on the many great reviews I have read. Let’s get it started: I ordered the chocolate berry stuffed french toast. This was the best french toast I have ever tasted… probably because I’ve never thought to put chocolate on my french toast. The french toast was stuffed with mixed berries and a chocolate/cream cheese mix. Absolutely delightful. It was then topped with berries and home made whipped cream then drizzled with chocolate. It was so good my taste buds’ taste buds wanted more. My belly was filled to the brim with this meal. The atmosphere reminded me of my grandma’s house(minus the dentures on the bathroom sink). It was cozy with an outdated décor. There were a few tables to sit at which were close together. I’d imagine if the restaurant was filled to capacity it would be hard to pull your chair out enough to loosen your belt after eating such a fantastic meal. The waitress, Peggy, was very polite and mild mannered. She walked me through the menu and knew pretty much anything about the menu that a new customer would need to know. She really made us feel like we were home. The only down side was the wait to check out. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty empty. When we finished our meal, the restaurant filled up. This seemed to be a bit of a strain on our wonderful hostess’ abilities. We weren’t in a rush to get back to work though, so it wasn’t a huge deal. I’d recommend you stop at the ATM and snag some green backs first. Try to pay with exact change so your can run outta there when the masses come for foods. Come to this tiny tavern of tantalizing tastes. I enjoyed my experience. The food is amazing!

Best eggs Benedict I think I’ve had in Michigan. The chocolate berry french toast is also really good! Peggy is such a sweetheart but I can see why people think she’s a bit much but I love seeing her every time I go lol !!! Only open thurs-Sunday !!! Prices are way cheaper than the breakfast club and quality of food is better in my opinion. I recommend this place! Super yummy little breakky spot :)

The Chocolate Chip Factoey is nothing fancy yo look upon. In fact… if not for my GPS I would have missed it entirely! But the ladies inside and the food… make ut all worthwhile! The lady taking my order. .what a sweet lady! I wish all waitresses were as sweet as she was. Made you feel like you were doing her a huge service by coming here. I could talk to her all morning! I decided to try the hazelnut coffee. It has a nice taste to it. Not overpowering but a nice flavor to it. But the lemon ricotta oancakes ya’ll…to die for. I hate pancakes. But i will never haye this soft-fluffy pancake with homemade lemon curd. You need to try this. You will be a converyed pancake fan!

The Chocolate Gallery Café is just the place for breakfast or lunch. Unfortunately their hours don’t go much past lunch, but if you’re in the area before 2, check it out. Additional parking is in the back. The décor is nothing to write home about. A bit quaint with a plethora of fake flowers and the tables are pretty close to each other to accommodate more people, but I’m don’t go for the design. The food is always a homerun. You may have to wait a few minutes to be seated, especially on the weekend, but it’s well worth it if you’re not in a hurry. Once you’re seated, the wait for food is usually fairly quick for what you’re getting. Their menu is breakfast, breakfast, breakfast. And who doesn’t want breakfast for lunch sometimes? The specials are up on the board and are normally what I get. I’ve had chorizo omelettes, artichoke omelettes, Dinty Moore omelettes, you name it, it may be a special one day. Their crepes are awesome too. They use the utmost ingredients and execute everything very well. Seriously, it’s one of the best breakfasts you’ll ever have. I’m not a coffee person, but I hear their hazelnut coffee is pretty good too! Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.
