Downtown Warren Ohio 5 generations old we have been here before and they continue to serve good service and good food. A good stop

My fiancé and I are staying the night in Warren and Saratoga is literally steps from our hotel. We were instantly greeted by the owner and our waitress was a charming older woman who paid so much attention to us that we felt like regulars! It’s a dark, old restaurant that has been a staple in Warren for 100 years and it’s clear that they have gone with what’s worked, and for good reason! We both got the fried chicken, which was phenomenal — not too greasy, and the breading was light, crisp and flavorful. Other meals we saw leaving the kitchen looked great, as well! It’s definitely very traditional, heavy American food, but for the local charm, it’s worth every calorie.

Stayed in town for a concert and the hotel staff recommended it. I’m glad they did! The portions were enormous and very reasonably priced! The service was good. It was a pleasant experience.

Adorable, charming, and very affordable. I highly recommend the fried chicken. Not only is is delicious it was 10 bucks for 3 pieces, a roll, and sides. This place oozed charm as the waitress knew the clients names and just hummed small town.

I hadn’t been here in over 40 years and I didn’t even know it was still open. A real surprise and treat to see it hadn’t changed since I was a kid, old fashion booths, and resturant. Looks like happy days. Food was just as delicious as when I was a kid and the prices were decent. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Didn’t like anything about it pretty much, except the old time atmosphere. Must have been an off day or something. That was 2 years ago and I took my girlfriend and her kid. I insisted we try it cause it was a landmark or something and they hated it. Well I didn’t get my peck on the cheek that day cause Of the Saratoga. That’s why I don’t like it and they boil there home fries or something and put paprika on them, wtf.

The Saratoga is a must stop when in Warren. The Fried Chicken is classic home style and amongst the best I have had. I am only in town from time to time but at my last visit I took a fried chicken leg to a sales meeting and let’s just say I got the sale!

Tried this place twice in the past couple months and intend to keep coming back whenever I’m in the Warren area for work. Worth the drive from the Alliance area alone. great food reasonable prices & good service. Atmosphere nostalgic & clean too. An all around pleasant dining experience and a must try if you haven’t.

Great chicken orange salad and chicken rice soup. The key lime pie was not the greatest. But the service was great! The location kind of scares me a little and finally I found this restaurant. I was a little afraid to go in, but the restaurant looked ok from the outside. I don’t regret going in at all and recommend it!

My wife and I found this place when we had an hour to kill due to the incompetence of the Trumbull County Auto Title Bureau. It is by far the best restaurant I have found in Warren thus far. The food is excellent and the service outstanding. I had a vegetable penne alfredo, the pasta was cooked perfect and the veggies were garden fresh. The meal came with a nice side salad, and fresh rolls. My wife had a chicken salad croissant with fries that she says was also excellent. The service was incredible, the staff were very welcoming and treated us as valued guests without being a nuisance. The best thing about this place is the ambiance, the Saratoga has been in business nearly 100 years, and still has the original wood booths. The décor here would be impossible to recreate economically in this era, so it is worth it to stop in just to get the feel of how the dining experience must have been in the early 20th century. All in all I cannot find anything negative to say about this place, and I look forward to my next visit.

I’ve been going to the Saratoga for years! I remember being there with my grandparents. One of the best places around I’ve never had a bad meal there.
