Got a delivery from Papa Johns with an extra large and a large pizza. I ordered easily online and the food came quick. I’m not sure about the other reviewers experience but our pizzas came out perfect, even with my ridiculous topping requests. We will definitely be ordering from there again.

The Papa john employees @ the Warren, MI location need to be reminded to WASH THEIR HANDS when handling food. The guy comes out the back friendly enough puts on his apron and starts on the dough-​really! No hand wash-​dont know what he was doing before. I prayed the oven killed the germs! Then he handled money and started on the dough of someone elses order-​GROSS! Someone talk to this guy! I know I wont be eating there again!

With so many pizza places in the area to choose from I would like to think that a chain such as this would go out of their way to make sure customers would choose their product over all the others. Yuck. All I can say is Yuck. I did not like this pizza at all. We haven’t had this chain in quite a while and now I can remember why. The sauce tasted canned and the crust tasted stale. It was probably one of the worst pizzas I have had in awhile. Way too expensive considering the other options in the area as well. Even my pizza «expert» 16 year old son hated this. It’s a decent location but the food just is not good.

Better ingredients … better pizza?
That’s what they lead you to believe, but there are many other pizza places — chains and mom and pops — that I would rather have, including Howie’s, Pizza Hut, Jet’s and and Buscemi’s. I eat a lot of pizza, have been my whole life and Papa John’s is nothing special. It’s almost a last resort for me, if that.
Don’t fall for the ad hype.

But it’s a hard time getting in contact if you’re calling by phone because they only have one line & if they are busy good luck. So if you need to contact them take your chances calling them or go online and order.

First time I had pizza from this location it was cold and raw. I generally like Papa Johns so I figured I would give them another shot. Second time pizza was delivered cold, cheese not melted, dough was barely cooked and the rest of the ingredients were basically raw.

1st thing… why doesn’t Papa John’s have any salad? I know it’s a pizza place, but dang… no salad… okay…strike 1…
Pizza…wierd…not my style… they boast the freshest ingredients, but the sauce tasted strange, like from a can, and also like my elders got a hold of it and doused it with sugar to beat the heart burn… odd. and greasy as hell! That was the cheese and pepperoni. the other was the garden fresh… and it was okay… it was funny… they threw in a Peperoncini inside the pizza box… not on the pizza… just off to the side, a whole one… what was that all about??? They do have a link on their website dedicated to the Peperoncini, so maybe that’s what they’re all about…
Anyhooo…don’t think I’ll be going back to Papa John’s anytime soon… they’re just not for me…

I normally love Papa John’s and because the price was so high I expected it to be so delicious. Pizza isn’t a hard thing to master in my opinion. Well it took about the typical time to get my carryout order but when I got home it was cold!!! It made me wonder was I late picking it up or did they misjudge the time it would take? Anyhow, the cheese wasn’t melted, it tasted like cardboard! The toppings were raw! The only thing good were the bread sticks with the famous garlic dipping sauce. I will not be going back. Even after reheating the pizza it was STILL disgusting!!! Maybe it was a bad day for them but it will be a cold day in H E double hockey sticks before I go back there!!! YUCKY

This is my first and maybe last time eating at papa johns. Maybe this is just a bad location but I don’t see what the big deal about this chain. There was nothing special at all about the pizza (one large with a few meat items). Like nothing about the pizza taste stood out and made me say HOLY COW THIS IS GREAT. It could have cooked a few more minutes too but you get that kinda mistake anywhere.
You can get better pizza at some of the mom and pop joints around town (Genos in Hazel Park for example) and plus its cheaper too. I always like to try something new, I dont stick to one place but sadly Papa Johns I don’t think I shall try you again.

A completely different style of pizza, one that actually does use different ingredients and makes sure that the taste reflects it. I’ll always remember my first time having papa johns down in Tennessee, and I’ve not regretted it since. :)
BBQ chicken pizza for the win! The first one I’ve ever tasted, and the best one still!
