I’ve been coming here for the 22 years of my life, and my mother has been coming here about 28 years. For most of that time we had the same waitress, under the same owner, but in the past 5 years or so, they switched owners. The food was absolutely delicious before, and still is now even though some things are different, they kept the same menu and recipes for the most part give or take a few things. The speed of the food coming to the table is usually pretty good, and the people are pretty nice. I’ve gotten friends to try this place and they’ve said its the best they’ve had.

I work down in Warren and this is my office’s place to go for Chinese food. The food is always amazing! My personal faves are General Toa’s chicken, Thai Drunken Noodle and of course Almond Chicken.

Ok in a pinch. I’d rather go elsewhere. Service was sort of lacking.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food is as good as ever. Everything on the menu is delicious, and it’s a great place for lunch.

The only thing that I dislike about Kim Toa is that the management must have changed, and they make a couple of things different. This place is amazing! My whole family would ONLY get Chinese food from here my entire childhood, and into my adult years. The Almond Chicken is addictive! Before I was Vegan, I ate this all of the time!

For Chinese food in Warren, I have three go-to places, depending on what I want. I have my «authentic» place, my «deliciously crappy» place, and my «A-Ok, average» place. Kim Toa is my «A-Ok» average place. Their food is relatively standard as far as Chinese-style restaurants in America goes, but they have a few standout dishes: There is sometimes crabmeat(not Krab, mind you) in the hot and sour soup, and it is awesome. Their hot and sour, while slightly glutinous, is delicious and one of my favorite in the genre. The other thing they do well here is Szechuan-style dishes. They are not afraid to skimp on the«hot» if you ask for it. A lot of Chinese places will give you a cup of hot sauce and leave you on your own, but here they respect your wishes if you ask for it hot. The restaurant is cash-only, and the staff can be curt(which is typical with a family-owned and run establishment like this), but when I’m not feeling like«going out» and just want good old blue-collar Chinese/American food, Kim Toa fits the bill perfectly.
