Dairy Queen

This location I came to get my own birthday cake. How weird is that I know. But I wanted it, and went and got it myself for me and my parents to have.
Any Ice Cream cake is great right, especially for those who aren’t big into regular cakes.
It was there in the cooler, ready to go, decent price and it tasted pretty good when we got it home.
For those of you who have a sweet tooth, especially in the summer… you should stop by Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen is Dairy Queen to me – I like the ice cream and love the chili dogs. But, this review isn’t as good as it could be because I’ve never had the chili dogs at this particular location (though I don’t doubt that they’d be any less delicious). What this review is about is the fact that this DQ has been there for me in times of need.
I recall enjoying Nerds Blizzards here as a kid (where is it now?!). Such a nice summer treat! But to the real story: About 8 years ago, I had some oral surgery done and my mom took me here (still drugged) for a milkshake. I was starving and couldn’t chew or use a straw. You can imagine what ensued. More milkshake made it onto my shirt than into my mouth. But I didn’t care! Those drugs were lovely. The same thing happened recently when I got my wisdom teeth out. Mom took me here, I giggled and made a mess in the car. Sticky everywhere.
Overall, I would be sad if this DQ didn’t exist. Who doesn’t love ice cream? And who doesn’t love laughing at their children after the dentist while indulging them in a nice frozen treat?
