Cash Only! Delicious, never-bitter iced mochas, individual pots of tea and lots of local baked goodies. Only downside is the service which really is touch-and-go… Sometimes lukewarm, other times distracted and chilly. One young girl(her name might be Lily??? I forgot!) is always friendly and outgoing but unfortunately, I don’t see her there often enough. If you’re lucky enough to get a table(it really depends on the time of day!) it’s a great place to get some work done or catch up with a friend(no one ever rushes you out!) lots of books and magazines and local artwork and crafts. A cool spot with street parking only… Be careful crossing the street here!

Seriously, can I give this place a negative star? The coffee is decent but the staff is just miserable and unfriendly. Hey skinny older lady with the short hair, would it kill you to give me eye contact when you are asking what kind of coffee I want? A smile wouldn’t hurt either your jab can’t be that bad. Horrible customer service!

I love the Coffee Depot and often meet here with my students. It’s such a comfortable, welcoming place, and the coffee and tea drinks are the best. It’s my favorite coffee shop.

The quality of the food and drinks is good but what I like most is the atmosphere. It’s a really nice place to get together with a friend or spend an afternoon reading or working.

Normally I would of given this place 5 stars but unfortunately I disliked the way they treated us today. So I guess they have a refill policy I have been coming to the depot for about three months now I have 4 coffee drinkers in my home and myself and my husband are coffee addicts so I would say in a day my household consumes about 12 cups between us a day at 2 change a cup if your only getting a coffee not iced coffee or lattes they can run close to five bucks so the refill policy is if you stay outside or in-house the refills are 50 cents what a deal! So myself my hubby and my sister every morning after the kids get on the bus we head to the depot for our morning wake up most if not all mornings we sit outside at the outdoor tables. Mind you in three months a steady customer morning noon and evening I have done this refill tops 4 times so I’ve spent hundreds they lost out on 6 bucks total and I was followed out of the depot this am by the manager who scolded me for getting a refill yesterday because I left the building and walked across the street to the town hall handled something and returned. She legitimately followed me out the door and I was in front of subway if you know where the depot is and she was in front of the depot way to keep it professional. I couldn’t even believe it happened! The coffee is good but not amazing enough to be humiliated on a public street! It’s priced OK if you get basic coffee but if you get a pastrie a hot cocoa or a cappuccino your looking at almost ten bucks! Not everything is bad I LOVE the coffee girls always polite and nice I will miss them the owner is miserable and cranky the manger I use to adore and was honestly shocked that this took place this morning! We are good customers we spend decent money there and to come on a public street to do this to me was awful! I’m sure they will continue to have a thriving business it just won’t be mine or my families anymore. You just don’t do that and if I was a business owner I would of thought this out better because OK you lost 6 bucks on my refills and all but once they were offered to me but in the long run you lost a family of coffee drinkers that spend a good amount of money in your establishment!!!

Absolutely fantastic coffee. The staff is extremely friendly and does a great job. It is cash only, but they also have an ATM inside. Good prices.

I wished I lived in Warren so I could come here ALLTHETIME. This is where I would bring a laptop, find a cozy spot, and lounge for hours(which I’m sure the waitstaff would love. But maybe I could write a best-seller and end up on their mural someday?) Things to love: 1. Ambience. Well-lit, artsy, cool local items for sale, small-town feel but enough space to actually accommodate people. 2. Drinks. I order hot chocolate everywhere I go because my inner human is 8 years old, so I can’t comment on the coffee. But the last time I was there, I had one of the best almond milk hot chocolates of my life. High five. 3. Food. The cranberry pecan and wheat walnut raison breads are SOGOOD. After a long day of walking, I was seeing mirages of those slices of bread and had to go straight to Coffee Depot. The yogurt parfait is phenomenal. The food is locally sourced and fresh and will satisfy your coffee-accompanyment desires(they also have soups and«real» food, too) 4. Staff. Friendly! Things to note: Has anyone mentioned they’re cash only? Yes? Only EVERYSINGLEPOST? Okay. Please be aware they’re cash only and embrace it, deal with it, or stop freaking out about it. Also, check out the wall mural and local artists’ work. A very cool place!

The Coffee Depot is the kind of neighborhood place with great coffee roasts, tea varieties and plenty of nooks, tables and comfy chairs to sit with friends or hibernate solo.

I love Coffee Depot. They make one of the best lattes I’ve had. And if you think Starbucks makes a good latte, you’re drunk. Coffee Depot’s latte is far superior to that mass appeal crap. The Maple Latte is just the best. They have lots of comfortable seating but it can get busy and fill up. Usually, something will open up if you wait a few minutes though. Friday evening music nights are lovely. Come with friends or even bring a book to chill out listen to great, live music. I’ve never had a problem with the staff but my husband has complained to me a few times about some of the girls being a little rude. The baked goods are delicious and many if not most come from local favorite, Foremost Baking Co. The Pecan Tart and Cream Cheese Danish are my preferred choices. They also have yogurt cups, juices and hot soup specials. Yes they are cash only but they have an ATM on site or there are plenty of places to get cashback just a few miles down the road in Barrington.

Awesome Chai Latte and lemon pound cake. The atmosphere is nice especially during live music and open mic nights. Warm and friendly although they only take cash.

I give it 2 stars for one reason only, their consumer unfriendly policy of cash only and I won’t go there for that reason, nor will my friends. The New Harvest coffee is good but what a selfish, one way policy of cash only. They make me laugh, they have an ATM in the place which will charge you to take money out. Get with it Depot, credit cards and debit is the cost of doing business these days. We go to fairs and Farmers Markets that take Visa and Debit. We also go to places that have New Harvest and take Debit.

This place is super cozy, has a great selection of coffee and tea. Books are available, a few outdoor seats on the sidewalk — weather permitting. Baked goods and great variety of music. Overall great vibes. Just remember to bring cash. Favorite coffee shop & study spot in the area.

I love the coffe and tea here. I come here with friends and we love this place. But the type of people who walk in here are kinda sketchy, it brings down the whole positive vibes of the place. Great snacks and soups too! I love this place in winter, it’s relaxing with a book.

Just another one of those places that overprices coffee for no reason. If your a coffee snop maybe you can tell the difference. If not save your money.

Good local, fresh baked goods, affordable, and a nice space for solo work or conversation. I avoid this place for one reason: the owner is straight up mean and incredibly rude to her customers. I’ve been in a dozen or so times now, and she’s always nasty. It’s a pity because the place otherwise has a lot of charm.

Oh, Coffee Depot, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. 1. Hands down, best chai in Rhode Island. OK, So I’ve only tried chai at like four other places, but I’ve decided that you are the one for me. You can get spiced or vanilla chai at the depot, but the vanilla is a little too sweet for me, so spiced it is. My favorite drink that I’m shamelessly addicted to — iced spiced chai with almond milk. So delicious and creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Not watered down, blegh-ness(that’s a word, right?) like at every other place I’ve tried. 2. Open mic night on Fridays! So fun! 3. Delicious iced tea — try the blueberry rooibos! So yummy and blueberry-y 4. Wifi. yay! 5. So supportive of other local Warren businesses… they always have a little boquet of flowers from the Greenery, and fliers and cards from other businesses. 6. Friendly staff. The other day, I went in and ordered, completely forgetting it’s cash only, and my dumb debit card wasn’t working. Nice barista let me have my order anyway, and left a note at the register so I could pay them back next time I came in. 7. Lots of fresh breads, pastries, and sweets. 8. Coffee punch card. 11th drink’s free! 9. Spacious with some cozy chairs, although it does get crowded.(because, obviously, everyone loves it) Plus, outdoor seating when it’s warm! 10. They have beautiful art from local artists on display, which I think rotates monthly. If you find yourself driving through lil old Warren, stop at the Depot!

Cozy place to sit with a hot cup of tea and read a book or study! Tea is served in a pot and is just what i needed on a cold winter’s day. Standard offerings for a coffeeshop. Service is great. They have a frequent buyers card where you buy 10 drinks, get one free. The place is pretty busy but you can still find a seat or table if you need one. I took of one star because they are cash only(so go to the ATM beforehand!). Parking can be a bit of a pain if you plan on staying for more than 2 hours.

Wonderful spot! They make an amazing chai tea latte. It’s so cozy here, you feel right at home. Absolutely my favorite coffee spot in RI, or maybe anywhere? You can come sit in a comphy chair, at a table with friends, or at a bar table looking out the window. I especially like coming here in the misery of winter. It makes you feel warm and reminds you of the pleasant aspects of winter– sitting in a cozy spot drinking something hot!
