Breeze Point Landing

What an absolute catastrophic horrid mess! For a while the City of Warren had what was one of the loveliest parks any city could ever be blessed with having. It was located right smack at the edge of the Allegheny River, perfect for city events such as our annual Rib Fest, Music in the Park and other events as well as general recreation. But then along came the developers promising all sorts of things, making fools and suckers out of the city management with pipe dreams of 24 condo units, geothermal heat and air conditioning, arts centers, new shops and restaurants along with an influx of tourists, tourist dollars and a regular downtown boom of prosperity.
Well none of that happened. Only a few shoddily constructed condo units were built, the geothermal thing pretty much of a failure, no arts center, no new restaurants, no new hotels, no new shopping area, no new hotels and no influx of tourists. The result simply being the destruction of what was one of the best parks any small city ever had, gone, destroy and ruined forever. Worse yet, the people of downtown no longer have a decent venue for their events, having to seek places located well outside of what is downtown Warren.
