My Fave Restaurant in OKC. I heart Zamzam. Zamzam is dope. Yep, like FORREAL it’s like super addictive. I have been searching high & low, far & near & I can’t find anything that compares to Zamzam. It’s so good I dream about it. Like all the time day & night. There is always this naggin in the back of my stomach. It calls to me in the sweetest voice like a beautiful cream cheese angel with cotton candy hair floating down a river of champagne. Mmmmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm soooooo good :)… Hubby & I were looking for Armenian/Turkish coffee when we stumbled onto ZamZam. That was a good day :) We ordered coffees & decided to get some food. I ordered a falafel & hubby a gyro supreme. O.M.G the best we ever had. We left & talked about it for a week straight. «I can’t believe how good that was» hubby would say & I would say«maybe it was a fluke, lets go back & find out!» Next time, we ordered coffees & again I ordered the falafel & hubby the chicken shawarma. O.M.G. The best we ever had. We left & talked about it for a week straight. I would say«I can’t believe how good that was!» Posting it to my Instagram! And hubby would say, «me neither! Let’s go back & find out!» Next week we were back again ordering & ordering &OH.MY.GAWD! You get the picture. One day we stopped in for lunch, their were patrons there in full Burka. Its super authentic, they make everything from scratch. The family that runs the place is middle eastern & always appear happy to see us. They seem to like my hubby very much :) The stuffed falafel, the gyro supreme, the homemade pita & the Mesabbaha aka the rustic hummus with the herb & chili oil is 2.die.4 Everything we have ordered has been fantastic. If you think you have had the best falafel, chicken shawarma, gyro, pita & hummus b4 think again! Ha! You have never experienced anything like ZamZam. They Rock the Casbah. Highly highly recommend.

Best falafel wrap on the planet. Creamy hummus and great warm pita. Absolutely love coming here for great service and food. I’ll be a repeat customer as long as this place is open! :)

Not outstanding but not disappointing either, therefore middle of the road. Clean restaurant, somewhat friendly staff, albeit only 1 guy working counter and very few customers inside. Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Had the gyro dinner. Meat was well cooked, but not very flavorable. Tabouli salad was good but a little too tart. Hummus had a great texture, smooth & creamy, but not much flavor to it. I did like that the pita bread was warm and soft. Overall not a bad experience, but nothing I would go out of my way to get again.

Stopped in for a quick snack, tried the beef hummus… flavor was excellent, the pita was hot and fresh… so good. Very clean. Server was attentive and courteous. Recommend and I would come back

I’ve never eaten inside the restaurant as my SO brings our order home so I can’t speak for the service or the atmosphere or the hookah. But the food. Oh my goodness. Best falafel in OKC, hands down. Not dry at all and extremely flavorful. The baba ganoush and hummus are equally excellent. The pita can be a touch dry, but that may be a side effect of to — go packaging and transport. And I don’t know what they put in their rice, but even the SO loves it and he’s not a big fan of rice. Their tabouli is super heavy on the parsley, but still has a good flavor. Overall I would have no problem eating their food at least once a week. UPDATE: Did I mention the falafel? SOGOOD.

I haven’t had anything of their menu before but, my friends and i have tried their Friday and Saturday nights buffet, and it is delicious. There are something such as rice that could be better quality such as basmati rice. Otherwise, other than that is quite good for the price.

I have been to zam zams only once and I prefer to keep it that way. my grandparents are from the Middle East and the food is not as good as everyone thinks if you’ve had real Mediterranean food. this however is not why I’m giving one star. I’m doing so because the service was terrible. it’s very unprofessional and I tried to order two different things before the waiter told me they didn’t have anything on that half of the menu. so. to say the least it was disappointing.

Stay away! Bad service, bad food, and bad value. The food was dry and some of the food that was served to us tasted like it was spoiled. Not sure how this place got rated four stars.

DON’T COMEHEREFORHOOKAH! But the food… is a different story(why I am giving this place 5 stars.) My boyfriend and I originally came to this place in search of a new hookah bar/hang out place. Zamzam’s has the hookah sectioned off away from the restraunt part. It isn’t very comfortable, you are sitting in dinner chairs, and the hookah was honestly terrible. The hookah itself looked really worn out. But the FOOD. Oh man… I think it is honestly the best place to eat at in OKC. The first night we tried it we hated the hookah, but almost made ourselves sick with the food. My boyfriend got chicken shwarma(which is the absolute best thing on their menu,) and I just got chicken hummus. The chicken hummus is so freshly made, along with the pita bread. I ate the entire bowl! Not even a week later we were back eating again! This time we sat in the restraunt section, and had the best service! The music was a little loud, and the waiter was so kind to ask if it was bothering us. I love this place, like I said, it is my favorite place to eat at!

The food was outstanding. Good hummus but way more dip than bread which is usually the case. I had the falafel wrap which was so good. I could’ve had a few more patties in there but that’d be my only complaint. My friend had the chicken schwarma sandwich which I cut a little piece of and it was also good. The service was lacking. There was only one girl working the front and I couldn’t flag her down for a napkin or a refill. And don’t go if you’re in a hurry. The good was slow to come out but that might be because it’s made to order, but I’m not sure.

2nd visit — bad experience. Food took 30 mins to arrive when we were the only diners. But technically my entrée arrived 10 mins later than that — bland and burned. Not once did mgmt come and offer Ana apology for the timing. He was too busy staring off into space.

2nd visit. The food is delicious, and they give a 10% discount with the Keep it Local OK card. Try the mint hot tea, it’s wonderful.

I cannot believe I haven’t eaten her before now! I went with a friend to ZamZam and I don’t think I will be eating at another gyro place for awhile! The appetizers are awesome! I love love love the hummus with grilled chicken. It was enough for a meal. I also had the kabob plate and I was blown away. My other half is a hungry man and he had leftovers to take home. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they offer a great selection of hookahs of you are into that. I haven’t tried out their hookah stuff but it looked impressive. I love that they are open until 11. It is hard to find a good place to eat for a late dinner and this is my new spot!

Finally got to try this today. Tried hookah for the first time, much better than anything else you would put in your lungs. Ordered a gyro and veggie platter. Veggie platter was vegetable-smacking good. Gyro was a gyro, not mine. Smells really fruity walking in. Will come back for the tabouli.

Zamzam is absolutely the best Mediterranean restaurant in the OKC metro area. I have been coming here for about 5 years now, and no other restaurant around is comparable. Everything from the authentic Mediterranean food and atmosphere to the hookah is top notch. The owners and staff are some of the most hospitable and welcoming people I have ever met. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests enjoy every aspect of their visit. The food is absolutely amazing. I have not tried a single item on the menu that I have not thoroughly enjoyed. If you are looking for a relaxing, traditional restaurant, Zamzam is your place. Not only is the food amazing but the hookah is also phenomenal. They have the cleanest and best hookahs in the city. They have at least 4 different brands with 50+ flavors of tobacco to smoke. The smoking room has plenty of comfortable seating at the tables and benches. There also are 4 large TVs to watch all the big games. If you are looking for a dark lounge with loud music this is not the place for you. This dining and smoking experience will be the most authentic experience you can have in OKC. I recommend that everyone give it a try.

My friend and I had dinner over on the restaurant side and we were the only ones over there. We started out with some grape leaves which I highly recommend. It consists of «cooked vine leaves, stuffed with basmati rice and marinated blend of lemon juice and seasonings.» It has a unique flavor and made for a great appetizer. My main entrée was chicken kabob, salad, rice, and pita bread — all good. Against one wall was the buffet table which is available on Fridays and Saturdays from 6−10pm. The hookah lounge didn’t seem very relaxing to me. The room was brightly lit and windows were opened which let all the cold air in. Each time the door to the hookah lounge opened(which was all the time), freezing air would rush into the restaurant side so I was sitting there shivering during the whole meal; it didn’t feel very pleasant. One last thing, 45 minutes before they closed, the cook came out and started cleaning the dining room. He stacked the chairs on every table around us basically giving off the message for us to get the hell out. I know he didn’t have any customers to cook for but geez, I thought it was kind of rude to be doing that when we were still there and it was definitely not closing time yet. It seems to me that the hookah lounge was their top priority since all employees were mostly gathered over there.

I feel the fairest way to rate this restaurant will be to rate several aspects of the restaurant, whether good or bad, from 1 — 10& give an average rating. I first called two days in advance to reserve a table, but the phone rang and rang and rang and rang. I made sure that I was calling during business hours and tried a little later. No answer either time. I went to their restaurant website to make sure the Unilocal App had the right number — it does(of course). They listed an email, so I went ahead and sent one with my reservation. I never got an email or call back(I included my phone number). The day of I called again. No answer. And then again a couple of hours later. Finally someone picked up, but there seemed to be a language barrier. He seemed to understand when I told him that I would like to smoke hookah while there. If you walk into the restaurant from the South, you’ll enter the smoking room where there is a large counter near the door. They didn’t seem to utilize it while I was there, but there were several hookahs behind the counter. From this room you can access the patio. I haven’t used it, so I don’t know its features. There were a ton of flies in the smoking room. It was way too loud for anyone to be able to hear the people across the table. After an hour or so, they turned the music up even more. If you walk in from the North, you go into the main room and see a buffet and a counter with a register at the back and several hookahs and the paraphernalia behind it. There are about 8 – 10 tables per section. The neons in the smoking room were pretty cool. The hard seats were not. Atmosphere — 6* After my 4 friends and I were seated for a while, a server came by to ask us what we would like to drink. We all opted for water. I had to leave for a few minutes to answer a phone call from a friend that got lost on the way there; when I returned, the table informed me that the bottled water they brought out were 99 cents a pop. When we were able to snag another server to ask for tap water, they replied curtly that there was no option for tap water in a glass. My friends and I sat there for quite a while waiting for our server to come back so we could ask a few questions about the menu. I thought we were pretty obvious about it, by looking in their direction, on the verge of staring, but I guess not. I didn’t want to come across as rude and just barge up to the counter in the other room where the servers seemed to congregate. When we finally got our waitresses attention, she hastily answered and left again. The manager came by to ask us how we were doing. At the moment we still had questions about the menu since our waitress left so quickly. He did a wonderful job of answering all of our questions. He informed us that there was a buffet as well that had foods that were not available on the menu. At one point, one of the servers noticed that we had ran out of pita for our hummus and offered more bread… but never brought it. Once we asked for it and finally received it(maybe 20 mins later) it was very fresh. They never did come back to take meal orders. We had to flag someone down. Once we received our food, we were checked on maybe once. Service — 3*(Average of 7* for Manager [minus 3 since he’s lacking a little in managing his servers], 2* for servers, and 2* for communications) The flavors were okay, but my hookah smokes so much better. They had fans in the smoking room which meant you couldn’t do any tricks. But maybe that’s just something white people and Mo from Norman does. Hookah — 3* Because the cigarette smoke in the smoking room was bothering me, we asked if we could move to the main room. Our flighty server told us we couldn’t smoke in the other room. I looked at her in disbelief and explained why we thought we would be able to — someone was smoking from a pink hookah just 15 mins earlier. «No there wasn’t.» 10 eyes disagree with her. Remember how we ordered water and got bottles at 99 cents each? We noticed that other tables had glasses of water. Once we asked, they said that they didn’t have that option. What?! Once we asked another server later on, we were able to get the glasses of water. Lest I forget to mention that my table got quick light coals… the rest of the restaurant(might I mention they all had darker skin?) got the higher quality stuff. Service Equality — 1* The portions are perfect(or for those«bird eaters») enough for two. The boyfriend loved the buffet. Two of our friends enjoyed the Turkish coffee. See my pictures for food description. Food — 9* I feel that the prices could be a little less extravagant, but really, the food is amazing! The hookah prices were ridiculous though. They automatically took gratuity on a table of 5. Price — 3 * This averages to a 4*, but I just can’t give them that since only the food was amazing.

LOVE this place. They have the best pita bread. Ever. It comes out hot and fresh, and goes perfectly with the fresh hummus, which comes in a pretty bowl with olive oil, paprika, chickpeas, and herbs. You also get what I think is pickled turnip slices to go with it and it’s oh so good. They have a buffet Friday and Saturday nights that is really popular and has lots of different items. But you also can’t go wrong with the Gyros Platter, turkish coffee, or hot tea. Definitely try ZamZam; it’s a fun environment with good food, and a great patio in the summers.

Zamzam offers delicious and fresh mediterranean food on a consistent basis. I’ve eaten here about 7 times over the past few years and every time it’s been delicious. This place is always a sure bet for a delicious flafel sandwich, gyros, or just some plain pita and hummus. Their pita is fresh baked and usually comes to your table piping hot from the oven! The service has always been top notch and very friendly. They have hookah service as well, though I’ve never had the chance to use it. This is one of my favorite OKC restaurants! I’d make this a regular stop if I lived closer.
