The red velvet cupcakes here are fantastic. There has only been one instance where the frosting was too greasy for my liking, other than that the frosting was delicious on all the cupcakes I’ve tried. The strawberries and cream cupcake is my favorite!

Got 19 cupcakes, 6 red velvet and at least two of each flavor for my daughters birthday. They were a hit. They were moist and delicious. We compare cupcakes to our favorite from Las Vegas and southern and Northern California and these are great cupcake(haven’t tried the cake yet) definitely my cupcake spot

The wife brought these home for a treat for me and the kids. One word, awful. We had 3 different flavors. Peanut butter, nutella,(which is choc and hazlenut), and key lime pie. The nutella fell apart as soon as the wrapper came off. The key lime pie was super dry and the peanut butter was dry and fell apart too. The biggest disappointment was the frosting. All 3 flavors had the same flavor frosting which tasted like whipped crisco. The only good thing was the presentation. But if it doesn’t taste good, what’s the point? Your better off making some Duncan Hines cupcakes with some homemade buttercream frosting. P. S. Been to cupcakery on the west coast, and this is just a very big let down compared to them.

Ok, I decided to stop by since I was driving around that side of town. Instead of playing my «hater» card regarding the reviews, I wanted to see what all these«one review» reviewers were talking about. Well I went in and saw that they had a few selections: Key Lime, Carrot Cake, Red Velvet, some Chocolate One, and I think 2 more that I forget. They also had mini cupcakes for people to try and I tried a mini key lime… YUMMO… *blink* yes, and I don’t even like Key Lime Pie. Seriously. I ordered the Red Velvet, Key Lime and Carrot Cake. I only have the Macon cupcakery to compare it to(Hello, Cupcake). I decided to taste the Red Velvet cupcake first. I liked the frosting at Hello Cupcake better because it was«stiffer and less creamy». The frosting here was the consistency of regular can frosting but it was good. I took a bite of the cupcake and oh goodness, it was DELICIOUS!!! It was so moist and yummy that it knocked the Macon spot out the water! How they made the cupcake so moist I have no idea. The Key Lime was eaten next. It was so delicious! Inside there was a dollop of Key Lime custard that was not too creamy and cooked into the cupcake with the right consistency. The frosting was more of an unsweetened whipped topping. I didn’t care for it too much but the cake was awesome. The carrot cake was so moist. So nutty and delicious! Very very moist. I can say that I truly enjoyed the cake and they will definitely get my business. I came on here to write this review and saw they had addressed my first comment — this tells me that they are into customer satisfaction, which is a plus. Ok, Simply Cupcakes… you’ve made a fan out of me. The cupcakes are 1 for $ 2.75, 2+ for $ 2.50 each and I don’t remember the rest of the prices. Military discounts are given… great! Great job Simply Cupcakes!
