Dropped off an iphone 5 with water damage. Paid $ 50 up front for diagnosis. The young gentleman I dropped it off with was very pleasant and said he’d try to remove corrosion by placing it in an ultrasonic machine. I was promised a call within 24 hours but instead received a call 3 days later. It was the owner that called. He blatantly stated that the phone could not be repaired and I needed to pick it up. Did not bother to explain what they tried or what else could have been done. Basically it was that I paid $ 50 and was told it could not be repaired. Maybe there is no way the phone could have been repaired but I expected better customer service and explanation from the owner. I will try a different place when I have a problem with my electronics in the future.
