I contracted with the property management arm of this Coldwell Banker office in July of 2012 to manage leasing a single family home in Warner Robins. In February of 2013 I began working with a resale agent at CBRF to list and sell the same home. What can only be described as a complete lack of communication between the 2 divisions resulted in the tenants leaving at the end of their lease, but the home was never placed for sale between February and July. When I brought this, and my complete dissatisfaction, to the attention of the broker/​owner, Mr. Free, at CBRF he began working with me to either move the tenant back in, or sell the property. After some back and forth with the tenant and some anxious nights waiting for an answer it turned out that ultimately the tenant would not move back in. As that was our best option for the home at this point we felt sunk. But Mr. Free took over the listing process and was able to get the property on the market and put a for sale sign out front within 24 hours. Ideally the home would have been on the market for a couple months now, but since he can’t go back in time to fix his employee’s mistake I feel like the only thing Mr. Free could have done to salvage the situation was just what he did… put forth great effort to get it to the market as fast as possible. So, while I still have an empty house that should have been on the market for months, I do at least have faith in this business that ownership cares and wants to be fair and have goodwill with their clients and their community. The lack of communication between divisions, and the fact that I was left with an empty house and no way to sell it earns the business one star… but the response from the owner of the company was satisfactory in light of a VERY difficult situation and that garners a couple more stars to the review. And I would recommend this business.
