I normally don’t go here, but now that I go to Touch of Bronze — it’s now more convienient than to go out of the way for my local CVS. I mostly had a pleasant experience. They have good promotions. Also, apparently every Saturday is some sort of coupon/deal day, which changes every week [for those who are unfamiliar with Walgreens]. Although the Indian woman [that I guess is the manager?] creeped me out today by saying how she saw me come in and watched me and then during check out said she«knows me” — really? Uhm, ok.

One night I needed to call into Walgreens to have my father’s Rx refilled. He forgot to himself. So it’s maybe 9−10pm at night and I call in for his insulin and needles. They gave me some ridiculous time the next day for pickup. I talked to someone in the pharmacy and I stressed the importance that a diabetic needs insulin ASAP. I was successful that time and got it picked up within a hour. Plus it’s not something you need to count out. Geniuses. Another time they refused to fill his insulin before they talked to his family doctor saying they need to know the dosage he takes, WTF! He’s only been taking it for YEARS! Again, it was later at night while the doctor’s office was closed.
