I have eaten Cheesesteaks for over 50 years & the one I had on 1÷17÷16 was the BEST I ever had!!! The place was nice & very clean. What more can I say?

Good philly cheese steaks in the burbs. Cheese fries, free pickles and hot peppers. Comfortable seating and two tv’s. Free WiFi. Friendly employees. Free refills on beverages. They even have a party room which you can book at no charge.

Got a Groupon for a discount on my way there. No one seemed to know what it was but the manager stepped in and honored it without question. Food was very good but I have noticed the portions are getting a little smaller. Would go back again

I’m a big fan of Tony Luke’s in the city. I have to say this one does not come close. I’ve tried it s few times now. Steak is very plain no seasoning. Not sure what they do different. But there is a big difference!!!

Let’s just say I was highly disappointed when I tried a cheese steak with american, mayo, ketchup, and fried onions. You can get better cheese steaks at any local pizza shop for half the price you would pay at tony lukes. So save your money my friends. Chow!

I used to work in south Philly on weekends and would treat myself to my favorite cheese steak in south Philly at Tony Luke’s… this is no Tony Luke’s. I don’t know what this is, but I’d rather drive to south Philly than eat the horrible slop they serve here ever again. Very disappointed

Not like the philly place, stale bread and the chicken cheesesteak had fatty chunks. Would not recommend

Feels like a chain trying to hard. I was expecting the feel of a South Philly messy delicious sandwich in a homegrown atmosphere from the city of brotherly love. What you get is being hit so hard with«Tony Lukes» branding. It feels as if they want to teach the suburban clientele what an authentic Philly sandwich shop is all about and it comes across in a condescending way. The community understands Philly and the cheesesteak and it is about the food not promoting cut out pictures of the founder. Chicken cutlet sandwich was good but nothing special. For a $ 9 sandwich it should melt in my mouth and it was just okay. Sorry for the poor review. I will try it one more time and if they get it right I will be certain to give credit where it is due.

This is my first Tony Luke’s experience and granted it’s in Warminster but since when is waiting more than 15 mins for a steak acceptable? Overly branded décor but clean. Staff would definitely rather be birthing razor blades vs. expediting orders which is normal at any late night eatery, but it’s exacerbated in the PA burbs. Okay steak but fairly reminiscent of Quaker and I could caulk my bathroom with the leftover whiz. The fries were really good though and I tried some of my Husband’s chicken parm sandwich which was much better than the Cheesesteak.

I don’t eat meat anymore, but I remember Tony Luke’s from south Philly and how good it was. Ordered the veggie sandwich. Was told the veggie were sauteed and came with provolone cheese. The sandwich was fair, soagy. Maybe their famous roast pork is better. If you eat meat, I suggest trying it and making up your own mind. Better yet go to the South Philly location!

Pleasantly surprised! Just a little history. Back on the 90s the original Tony Luke’s in South Philly was the absolute BEST place in the city for many different types of sandwiches including cheesesteaks, roast pork, roast beef, every hoagie under the sun, chicken cutlet sandwiches, hot dogs/texas tommys, different types of fries, breakfast, etc. They also used to have an Italian restaurant on the same block(Casa di Pasta) which was beyond amazing. We still talk about their HUGE portions to this day! Around the time they opened the sports bar, though, it all started going a little downhill and they started slimming the sandwich menu… These days, TL’s is basically a franchised(?) chain and the menu is extremely watered down compared to the original. The bread and meat are way different and not really as good. Even the original location has taken on this new«chain» style menu which very, very disappointing. The old TL’s and the massive menu is gone for good. Seafood Alfredo with a pound of lumb crab meat at Casa di Pasta is a distant memory… Moving on… today I was just dying for something different on my lunch break and I decided to give this location a try. Well, I would probably still never order a cheesesteak from here(I’m a cheesesteak snob) but my chicken cutlet supreme was legit. It wasn’t exactly like the old, original style but actually quite close, maybe 85−90%. Bacon taste and texture, cheese and the cutlets themselves were all very close to the OG style. It was hot and fresh and pretty big.(It was also 12 dollars so it better be) I’d go back anytime. Employees were nice, place is very clean and completely renovated to match the other locations.

I am a longtime fan of the original East Oregon Ave location so when we passed the Warminster location last week I was so excited to try it! The sandwiches were ready in ten minutes. I thought the location was clean and bright with a good eat in area. Due to a sleepy kid, I took it to go instead. I ordered a Junior Roast Pork Italian with Broccoli Rabe and a Junior Cheesesteak Wiz Without. There were some fixing on the side that you could take in to go cups — two kinds of hot peppers, pickles and condiments. When I got home(about a 10 minute ride), I was disappointed to find how soggy the roll was on the roast pork, but I chalked it up to some really juicy meat. I dug in and I have to say the Roast Pork Italian was as delicious as ever… except for the roll. The roll was like the stick bread you get from a supermarket. It was extremely doughy and really took away from the rest of this amazing sandwich. It tasted even better with some slices of hot peppers thrown on it! On to the cheesesteak… I expected the roll to hold up a little better with the steak, and it did, but it was so doughy that it took over the taste of the sandwich. I wound up not eating the bread for most of the sandwich, which was a shame because it had sopped up the Cheese Whiz. The meat itself was perfect — tender and tasty with no gristle. It could have used a couple of drips of the super hot sauce that a lot of Philly cheese steak places have at their stands. I will certainly go back and try this location again, but I hope they bring in better rolls(from the city) to support the fantastic ingredients inside their sandwiches.

Cutlet sandwich was a greasy mess. Cheesesteak was bathed in mayo. Certainly wasn’t worth the nearly 15 min wait for it. Not a fan of being handed a bag instead of at least having trays for patrons eating in. Little things like that matter. $ 30 for 2 sandwiches, 2 fountains and a fry to split. Overpriced meh. Better options locally at better prices. Once and done

Went back for another try and I can say that I can pick a few places that I would choose before ending up here again. Unilocal really needs to separate the Works reviews from the Luke’s reviews. Gives a higher rating then Luke’s really deserves.

The cheesesteaks are very good as has been stated. For the cost of the steaks I don’t think they should charge extra for sauce. I get steaks from a lot of places and have never been charged for sauce on my sandwiches. No signage telling you about extra charges either!

I’ve never been to the original, just the one at Citizen’s Bank Park which isn’t really fair to judge since it’s cooked in bulk. Tried the roast pork sandwich. Tasty. $ 14 seems steep, but it was enough for two so that’s helps, but $ 2 extra for long hots? Really? Is that the same pricing as the original TL’s? The girl at the register is really who you want greeting customers? Her body language is brutal and a minus. They guy putting the bags together was hustling, but does he really have to read every item from every ticket? Maybe the wait wouldn’t be so long if you skipped that step? By the way, he was the only one smiling. Everyone else working had a bug up their ass. Smile a little. Food is a 4.5 Service is a 2 Price is a 3 Easy fixes to get to 4+. Train your staff to be customer friendly.

Came here for the breakfast and was disappointed. Breakfast is served from 7a-11a. I arrived at 10:30 and wanted bacon however they was out of it so I ordered sausage egg and cheese on what I thought was going to be on a TL roll. However after receiving my sandwich it was on a shorti roll and when I asked the cashier why it wasn’t on a TL roll she said breakfast sandwiches are only served on shorti rolls. I wish I had known that before paying $ 6.35. I should have also pointed out that their menu states under breakfast a choice of a TL or shorti roll. That should be changed ASAP! Needles to say I won’t be back for breakfast again.
