Omg okay so let me start off by telling y’all how nice and sweet Mrs. Barbara is she explained everything and she answered all my questions. And her salon is so clean and everyone is friendly. Im going back again I’m hooked. And I’m tell all me friends. Brazilian wax yup I did it never shaving again. But really ladies check it out. Mrs. Barbara is really nice.

Been a client for about 5 years. Was treated well but lately it seems as though I am taken for granted. Looking for a new salon.

I used a Groupon for my first Brazilian wax at a fantastic price. Barbara the owner was so up beat and friendly! She explained everything that would occur and made me feel at ease. She talked to me about various things to keep my mind off the pain from waxing. Would highly recommend!

I got a groupon for bikini waxing at a great price. I was so nervous but Barb was fantastic. She made me feel completely comfortable and got it over quick as possible… although I thought it was the most traumatic experience, as I’ve never been waxed before. I really appreciated that she was understanding … because she was so fantastic i will be going back.

This past Christmas I received a gift card for this place and just got around to using it this month. I got an hour massage that was just divine. I was greeted by a few of the employees and was immediately introduced to my masseuse, Carol. Carol was a very sweet older woman who went out of her way to make me comfortable and gave me the most wonderful massage. I could’ve fallen asleep on the table once she was done, and slept through to the next morning if it had been acceptable.
Carol explained that Spa Essence uses a massage lotion instead of massage oil so you’re not greasy after the massage. This was true and I welcomed it. The only thing I didn’t absolutely love was how small the massage room was. Of course it doesn’t need to be spacious because one spends the duration on a single table and once you close your eyes, who cares where you are.
I was also excited to see gold O.P.I. (Bling Dynasty) on sale at the front desk because I’ve been looking for gold nail polish forever.
Spa Essence also offers haircuts, facials, manicures and probably pedicures. Will be back to check out the other services. Would definitely recommend for a massage.

I’ve been a customer for about 5 years and enjoy my visits for my regular highlights and cuts. A very friendly salon with a talented staff who are all down-​to-​earth, and not what you sometimes find in the higher end salons and spas. From the very pleasant receptionist who greets you, to the shampoo ladies who always know everyone’s name (how do they remember?) to the sylists, it’s a nice relaxing atmosphere. other services include massages, waxing, nails, make-​up and other traditional spa-​like services (which someday, I’m hoping someone treats me and buys me a gift certificate to enjoy). Prices are in line with similiar high end salons in the area.
