Found a groupon for this place and figured we would check it out for a little getaway. It was very relaxing and definitely had a «cabin feel» even though we stayed in the lodge. The room was beautiful and the view even more so.(We stayed on the third floor.) WiFi and TV worked great for us after a long day of hiking nearby trails. Only complaint is that the walls are quite thin so noisy neighbors definitely cut into relaxation time. We loved it here and would come back again.

Gave them a 3 because the staff was so nice. But otherwise…“free Wi-Fi” didn’t work, TV didn’t have but 8 – 10 channels and they had no DVDplayer. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have run across in motels. The walls were thin – heard walking above all night. The Jacuzzi jets were clogged with brown gunk so we were too scared to give it a try. I was also disappointed in the property – the view was basically a back yard(grown up this time of the year maybe?) and the Inn is right on the roadside not up in the woods as you would imagine from their posted pictures.

I reserved for one night stay. We arrived a bit late, so the office was already closed. They had an envelope with my name on in with the keys, and directions taped to the door. Basically, we had no interaction with the staff for the first day which I didn’t mind because there wasn’t anything I needed in particular but if I did need something there wouldn’t have been any way to get in contact with them. Instructions said we can do the check in the next day. We were assigned Lodge 18. The room was clean, and simple with basic accommodations like towels, fridge, microwave, coffee, etc. The T. V was a bit small with very little channels in bad quality, but they have wifi granted it’s a bit slow. Other than that there are lots of hiking trails, and they give you list of attractions as well. They sell Safari tickets there, and it’s cheaper to buy it from them. The lodge itself was pretty isolated so there was lots of peace and quiet. Very much loved it there and I would definitely go back! Especially with more people so I can try out the Cabins.

We stayed at the lodge on hwy 190. Very reasonable priced room. Very clean! Absolutely gorgeous view from the deck. We came to Callaway to run in the half marathon. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to schedule a late checkout at 1:00 pm to allow us to shower after our race. Check in and checkout were very easy! We will return to the lodge!

We had our wedding here, everything went great at the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. Karen is the shining star here. She was on top of everything that night. As previous reviews state, it can be hard to get them to call back when you call them. I was the persistent bride and was always able to reach someone. We also stayed in a cabin. The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but they are better than the floor. The furniture in our cabin was comfortable.

Stay away. No staff at lodge. Not very nice for a Mountain Top resort. I have personally been to chain motels with more comfortable accommodations. I was hoping the resort would be like the mountain resorts in Gatlinburg. I now know if I want a nice mountain retreat that Blue Ridge and Gatlinburg is where I will be going from now on.

We stayed 3 nights in the lodge, which is about 1 mile from the main office. This place is a little unusual in that there is no staff on site at the lodge. You check in and then you are kind of on your own. We needed a blanket and had to drive back to the office. There is daily maid service, but don’t expect much more than making the bed and fresh towels. The maid service could definitely be better. Our room was very nice. The pictures on the website are very accurate. Our room was completely cedar-lined and smelled and looked great. Everything was clean and modern(in a rustic way). Our room had a flat screen TV and a heart-shaped jacuzzi tub. There is even Wifi — although it is not great. Complaints? Not too many. The bed is a little hard, and the bedding is very basic. Like I said, we even needed to ask for a blanket. We only had three pillows on a King size bed, and extras were hard to come by. There is no phone in the room, but we had no problem with cell service. All in all, this was a nice place to stay. The view from our porch was fantastic! I think this lodge is well worth the money and we would stay here again.

We stayed at the Lodge for a marriage retreat, and it was really great! It’s all folksy with wood-paneled walls and floors, and most of the rooms in The Lodge have heart-shaped jacuzzis! Most of them were red, but somehow we got a green one… either way it was wonderful! The whole lodge area was cozy and very convenient to our rooms, and it was kept very private for our group. It’s also very close to Callaway Gardens, Roosevelt State Park and the town of Pine Mountain, so there’s lots to do! I really liked it, and I’ve love to come back for a more leisurely weekend, preferably a sunny one so we can go hiking!
