Should have known better. Remember when it was Deschutes crossing at least then they had decent food, then it caught fire and got a new owner. Ordered the tuna melt on sourdough. Neither melted nor sourdough. Only thing decent were the fries.

So my boyfriend and I decided to stop and try this place. We walked in and seated our selves, was not busy we waited 5 minutes, no one said a word to us. I ordered a tuna melt off the lunch special, apparently you can’t not substitute the fries even if you offer to pay more. Then my boyfriend ordered the Indian tacos, he said no onions. We got our food timely, except my plate more fries then sandwich. The Indian taco had Extra onions. Then to top it off could hear the guy behind us ordering the a sandwich and asking for a substitute for fries, and he got it. The food overall was good. I guess the waitress does not understand good customer service.

My friend and I stopped at Eagle Crossing after returning to Portland from a roadtrip through eastern Oregon. We needed sustenance before entering a long stretch of Mt. Hood forest on the way back to Portland and found Eagle Crossing on Unilocal. This place is no frills but very tasty! Warm Springs is a predominantly Native American town with the reservation right across the street. Lots of locals came through. Ambience is fun and low-key and food tasty! Specials are Indian taco and anything w the local huckleberries. Definitely worth a stop!

My best friend & I were roadtriping to southern Oregon & we made it a point on try this place once & for all! I’ve passed this restaurant so many times going to Central/So. Oregon. I’m a sucker for the Native American Culture so this was a real treat for me. We stopped in pretty late, I want to say it was about 9pm? Not gonna lie, it’s a little creepy but so exhilarating at the same time! We were immediately greeted & seated. We were the only two in there. We both ordered fry bread. While were waiting my friend & I decided to look at all the old photos framed & hung all over the restaurant. Beautiful photos of Native Americans; some in traditional regalia some taken of children from Indian School. Nonetheless we we’re entertain & really enjoyed the photos. We got our fry bread – which was HUGE – it was nice, fresh & hot. It was a lot breadier & fluffier than others I’ve had in the past. Still very delicious fry bread. I also ordered coffee. I’m sad to say it was the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. Maybe it was a bad pot or something but I couldn’t even stomach it. The restaurant was clean. You can tell it’s a family business, it looked like they set up office in the corner of the restaurant. The service was kind & friendly. Bathrooms very clean & spacious. I’ll defiantly be back to try more of their food. The Indian burger sounds amazing. It’s worth a stop in be it night it day!

The Indian warm bread from here was pretty good. If you can find an entrée that features that, I think that would be the route to go. I’m giving it a lower rating just due to sanitation concerns. This is the same family that owns the rafting outfit that it shares the parking lot with. My group saw a few of the raft guides come in from out in the parking lot, go behind the food prep area, fix themselves either a drink or some food and just walk out. No washing their hands, not one. We literally went rafting with two of them and were with them for the previous ~5 hours so could vouch for how dirty their hands were and that they didn’t visit a sink to wash-up before going back and contaminating the kitchen or prep areas. Gross. We asked the waitress what she’d recommend when we sat down and she says, «Honestly? Nothing. I don’t eat here» It got a huge laugh out of our group and we appreciate her honesty. Not taking her advice, I still ordered a milkshake and fries. They were pretty good and if I were rating off the food alone, I’d probably give it a 3. We’ll avoid it if driving through the area again.

I really want to give this place 4 or 5 stars because both the setup and waitress were great. However, I find myself struggling to not give it 1 star. So, I compromise at two. Here’s the lowdown: –my cousin ordered a regular burger and said it was chore to finish. –I ordered the buffalo burger and it was super dry and tough to chew. I forced myself to finish the patty. –the indian fry bread was reasonably tasty –my wife ordered the Indian taco and thought it was decent. –the portions were huge –the waitress was super friendly and fun. Don’t think I would stop here again, but if we do I would try something. Maybe burgers aren’t in their wheelhouse.(How do you screw up a burger? Thinking it must be discounted frozen patties??)

We stopped at the restaurant on the way home(to WA) from a trip to Bend. It was really the only option we could find near Warm Springs and the last option before Mt Hood. The inside of the restaurant is nothing to write home about: a basic diner. Oddly, the diner’s office consisted of a table in the main dining room. It had a computer and a bunch of papers on it. They also had a big screen TV playing the NBA playoffs. The menu was what you’d expect from a diner: burgers, sandwiches, etc. They did, however, have elk burgers as well, which is what I ordered. It came with fries, which were probably the best part of the meal. The elk was okay. I think the elk was a pre-made frozen Patty. Okay prices. If this review sounds boring, well, it basically reflects the dining experience. Decent, okay, nothing especially standing out.

We came here for breakfast after a night of fun at the kahneeta resorts. I got the Denver omelet with hash and it was pretty good! The restaurant from the outside and inside doesn’t look that good but food was excellent. I would definitely come here again. Oh and our waitress was just awesome!

We’ve come by here a few times. First with kids and another without. Great service and food has never let us down! Beautiful view outside of the basalt mountains. Big screen tv in dining room for entertainment value. Tonight, it’s lord of the rings!

Randy & Brenda, owners of Eagle Crossings, are great people. So friendly & welcoming. They have a great variety of food and lots of home made goodies. The Huckleberry sauce on the Frye Bread is outstanding. Right off the highway for easy access. It’s only 15 – 20 minutes from Kah Née Ta and the prices are so much better than eating at the resort. Our family loves this diner ad highly recommends it to anyone and everyone. Kid friendly and family friendly. Oh, don’t forget to try the Huckleberry Pie, as well. Yummy!

Came for dinner with a group of hungry young men, all of whom ordered either the Indian burger or the Indian taco — HUGE portions. You’ve gotta try their fry bread. I had a regular cheese burger, which was very good. Great pie, super friendly service, and a very relaxing place to hang out with both locals and travellers. The restaurant has been fixed up since it changed ownership, and now includes lots of photos of Warm Springs tribal members, local history, and community events. I’ll definitely stop here to eat when passing through.

Passing through Warm Springs our group of mountain bikers was looking for a diner breakfast– look no further than this place. Waitstaff was friendly, portions were generous, and coffee was forever flowing. Few things are better than bacon and eggs done right. I’d come back.

Loved my lunch here! I’ve always wanted to stop in Warm Springs but somehow end up a mile past it by the time it occurs to me to pull over. I’m glad I made the effort to stop this time! I got the Indian burger– huge patty on Indian fry bread. Holy Moses, this is the kind of meal you want to tackle if you fight moose for a living or push over trees with your bare hands. It was so delicious! The customer service was very friendly and attentive without being overly so. I’ll be trying the elk burger on my way back. Check out the coffee stand, too, across the parking lot– you’ll need it before food coma sets in. They have great coffee and beautiful handmade jewelry.

We like to stop here on the way to my parent’s house. The food is typical diner food, but it’s pretty good. All the people are really friendly here. The saving grace is the fry bread – get some.

I absolutely love this place, it has a great casual atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re at home. The menu had alot of diverse options and it was hard to decide what to eat, everything looked great. Some things that you find here and no where else are their elk burgers, elk steak, buffalo burgers, Indian tacos and of course the mouthwatering huckleberry pie. I recommend it to anyone passing through to Bend or Portland
