I have had the same nail tech for almost 10 years(Tina), she does an amazing job and would follow her anywhere. I was happy to go to a new salon so that she could continue to do my nails. No matter how much I love my nail tech I can no longer go to a «Salon» that treats customers as if we are indebted to her. On my last appointment there I was told that I had to «be quiet» because the owner had a head ache. In the last two years the owner has on several occasions spoke down to me, other clients and her employees(one of which is her Mother). She has a no cell phone rule for everyone but her. I am a financial professional so I have to keep my phone on. The owner was never without a comment when I had to answer my phone due to a client or my child. Answering her phone for her children was acceptable. I am accustomed to getting a pedicure every other time I get my nails done however, after going into The Matrix’s «pedicure room» once I would never go back. It is dingy, their are cob webs and spiders and you can not cover up the many cosmetic issues of this place by thumb tacking sheer curtains to the ceiling. The Matrix Salon charges a substantial amount more for their services than any other salon; and while they are talented women you are not only paying for the services you are also paying to be treated in the most unprofessional and disrespectful manner that I have ever had the pleasure to witness. If you decided to go to The Matrix Salon you will come out with good looking nails but please have a strong sense of self-worth before entering as the owner will try to take that in addition to the 35−40% inflated prices compared to surrounding salons. Would not recommend !!!

Her nails are beautiful. The spa is great. The pedicures are to die for. The massages will make you melt in your shoes. Customer service? Leaves something to be desired. The rules are unrealistic and no amount of patronage you give this place will make a difference. I think I’ve spent over $ 1000 between services and gift certificates at this place, and yet today I got treated like crap because of a life situation I could not avoid. Sure, she says you can’t have kids. And yet, her youngest daughter can be seen there frequently watching movies on her laptop or generally hanging out. Life happens, and sometimes it pays to pay it forward and be understanding and helpful. But, when you’re unaccommodating and downright rude it will come back to you someday. The customer may not always be right, but the customer is paying. right? Someone that pays over $ 60 every 2 weeks and even shells out for a VIP account(that, sadly, will never get used) doesn’t need to hear lip about your single-mom struggles. Life is hard. Sometimes you’re stuck dealing with it because it is your responsibility to do so. If you’re looking for a place with a person who cares about your life or about you as a patron, you might want to look again. If you’re looking for a place that has more rules than a state prison then knock yourself out. You do get what pay for, but you shouldn’t also have to pay for crappy attitudes.

Got my eyebrows done, I usually do threading so I wasn’t impressed.(threading is personal preference) However I will go back for a facial or to get my nails done. Looks nice inside and they really know how to treat people
