A Wareham Florist

This flower shop handled the flowers for my beloved mother’s funeral and I have to say they went above and beyond. The flowers were exquisite and the shop owner was very kind and attentive. She made a special trip to buy all the flowers. My mother adored flowers so the flowers were very important to us and we were very happy with the results and the service. Thank you so much for handling this important task for us.

Nancy has always taken the time to listen to my likes and makes me a beautiful bouquet for whatever the occasion. Her artistic ability with flowers is amazing and she is my favorite florist. She even offers this program for people where they give her all the special dates when they want flowers delivered and pay ahead of time and it is done for you, automatically. Good for those who forget anniversaries, like my husband.

Nancy and her team does great work on every bouquet, arrangement and floral design she’s ever done for me. Great attention to detail and especially for last minute requests. Highly recommended!

Nancy was very difficult to work with. She was lovely when you could actually get a hold of her and she pretended to listen to you but she did not have any recording devicees, like a pen or paper, so she didn’t remember any of what we actually wanted. I was literally getting text messages from her the week of my wedding with sample bouquets and centerpieces when I had been asking for them for a couple of months. No one else noticed as the flowers were beautiful, but they were none of what I wanted. I specifically said I don’t like hydrangea and guess what the whole bottom of my bridal bouquet was?
Unfortunately, I just found Nancy to be very flighty and not responsive. She pulled through and again no one else noticed, but my mom and I were, and continue to be very disappointed with the whole experience with her. I would not recommend her for a wedding, only short term occasions like prom or valentines day or something.

We used A Wareham Florist for our wedding in June 2011. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed. Nancy is very nice and offered ideas and was always friendly. But it was very difficult to get ahold of her in the months before our wedding (I would email, get no response for 2 – 3 weeks, then call and get no response for another 2 – 3 weeks, then email again with no response for 4 weeks, then call and was told she was busy and would reply soon, then wait another few weeks, etc.) — It definitely added a lot uncessarily to the stress of wedding planning.
Then the actual centerpieces and a special arrangement we requested were disappointing… Just poor quality and not what we had envisioned. The flowers were supposed to be a main focal point but they really flopped. If you go with this florist, I would go for a mock-​up so you can get on the same page better and give feedback, but what I really recommend is to go elsewhere. We had also interviewed the Bourne Florist — She seemed great and said she doesn’t book more than one wedding on a weekend, unlike A Wareham Florist.
