Amazing place! We went for breakfast and were greeted very warmly that it made me feel right at home. They are so nice here. The place is small but perfect. The coffee was good but the food is where it’s at. The place has great vegetarian options, but meat is present if that’s what you like. A simple menu that does not take an hour to read, does not make your decision any easier when looking over the delicious food options. Fresh, real food that warms the soul. I had the scrambled eggs with spinach, cream cheese and avocado off their special menu. It came with potatoes that were perfectly cooked and some toast. I left full but not sick. Highly recommend if your in the area.

Delicious food! Service was fantastic and they were extremely accommodating of our party of 10 people.(This is a tiny restaurant) The banana nut griddle cake, the sourdough griddle cake, and the egg wrap were all phenomenal! The coffee is outstanding!

Awesome fresh and different foods. We had the Scramblette special of the day and the baked eggs. Both were incredible. We liked our food so much we each tried a cup of the two daily soup specials. Wonderful. We will be back.

We were doing some sightseeing around the area(obviously) and decided to try this place out based on the Unilocal reviews. At first we were concerned that we had made the wrong choice, since the coffee was a big strong for our taste and when we asked for orange juice, we were brought a «simply orange» container. So i guess there is no fresh squeezed orange juice available. Could it be? did Unilocal really lead us astray? Well once the food was brought out we were back on the Unilocal bandwagon since both dishes we tasted were delicious. We had two items from the daily specials. The Apple/Cin French toast and the Pulled Pork Tostada. Both were delicious. We were thoroughly satisfied at the end of our meals. My only suggestion would be to improve their morning beverage choices, but I am willing to overlook strong coffee if the rest of the food is delicious. Will definitely be coming back if around the area.

A testament to why Unilocal is amazingly great(most of the time) because it helped me discover this laboratory of deliciousness in Wappingers Falls, NY. I’m sure anything they offer is spectacular but I had the pleasure of indulging in a creamy mushroom sauté surrounding a seared corn polenta topped with a poached egg smothered in a beautiful pesto hollandaise. Oops I just drooled on my shirt. Can you say 5 stars? I can. Worth a detour off I-87.

Based on the Unilocal reputation, I had to check this place out. I was skeptical but it actually managed to surpass my expectations that were set by its 5 star reputation. Don’t even consider another alternative. Just go here. I know I’ll be going back VERY soon!

We were greeted by the nice young girl, who apparently is the niece of the owner/Ec & Service was prompt & courteous the minute we walked in. My wife & I came here on our honeymoon to start our morning right & it has undoubtedly been the most pleasent experience of Wappingers Falls NY thus far! My wife ordered the Turkey Reuben with fries which she saw the chef cutting as we ordered. & I ordered the Sweet potato griddle cakes with the special of the day called a «Scramlette». The most thoughtful & carefully done meal we have had our entire trip so far. This place is truly a diamond in the rough & the five stars are not exaggerated! It’s only open Wednesday –Sunday but I would definitely recommend to Take some time out of your humpday to visit here. It is the bomb!

A truly hidden gem in Wappingers Falls. The environment is relaxing, home-style, with just the right volume of background music that you can feel comfortable chatting. The most amazing part is the FOOD — everything tastes fresh and well made! My husband ordered the grass fed burger with Cole slaw which came out very well, the brioche was also very good. I had the special Apple raisin french toast which was amazing! The French toast is thick and toasted so that it’s still crusty with the nice Apple garnish and home made maple syrup. The only thing that would make the place even better is the AC could be a bit stronger as it is a bit too warm inside. Other than that everything is perfect for a comfy casual brunch surrounded by friendly staff and GREAT food. Oh by the way the coffee is great too!

Dropped in to order breakfast to go. Super friendly staff took my order and offered me a seat while I waited. I got a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with iced coffee. The make their iced coffee with actual ice coffee cubes so your drink doesn’t get watered down– nice touch you don’t see everywhere. My sandwich was great. The sausage must have been from a butcher, it was so tasty and not your regular burger-like patty. They even asked if I want salt, pepper and ketchup on the sandwich, not the customary packets you’ll get on the side. Go here if you want a quality breakfast sandwich!

Cute little café in the village with fantastic food. It’s kinda small so gathering a bunch of friends on a busy morning can be difficult but taking a breakfast sandwich to go is good too. Everyone is very nice and accommodating(soy milk for coffee, yay!). It’s a little pricey but my only complaint is that I don’t get out to eat breakfast there enough.

I wouldn’t dare tarnish this place’s near perfect rating! I am from out of the area and was visiting Poughkeepsie by myself on Easter Sunday, so it was a bit tough for me to find a decently rated breakfast spot. But I sure am glad I found this place! The staff was extremely kind and attentive, and it is easy to see that they, themselves, love the food there as well. I had the sourdough pancakes and they were phenomenal! The coffee was strong and delicious and my cup was never empty. The place is a bit small and easy to miss on the outside but it’s a must try! I’m just a bit sad that I live so far away!

Here at 220 on a Sunday the clerk shrugs her should at me and says sorry we are closed. What is wrong with these businesses up here?

Went with the family for breakfast. Was soooo yummy. 5yo picky eater loved the sourdough pancakes! Banana bread French toast was delish. 10yo got a breakfast sandwich and loved it. Hubby got the daily scramble and raved about it. Was nice to be able to take the family out for good food and not feel guilty about what I’m feeding my children.

Went here for brunch after reading the good reviews. Absolutely amazing!!! A hidden gem in Wappingers. I’ve driven by this so many times and im glad I finally went it. I got the special scramblette of the day with bacon cream cheese and dill. At first hesitant about that combination but it was so delicious. I plan on coming back here A LOT!!!

This place is so wonderful. Warm, welcoming, homy, cozy. The staff was very nice definitely feel like you’re in your grandma’s living room or something. Food was great those were the most unique poached eggs I’ve had, the steak was good and that homemade jelly was def sprinkled with a little crack. Too bad I’m not from around there bc this would definitely be my spot. It is very unassuming from the outside but don’t be deterred, it is so worth the visit

This place looks so easily ignorable, especially from the outside. Please don’t! Other similarly humble eateries have been unable to stay at this convenient village location across the street from Graceland. Let’s please make sure the Foodsmith stays. House-cured bacon, house-made mayo, house-made slaw pickle, free range eggs from Feather Ridge, real maple syrup, Cabot whipped butter. He cares! Keep, keep, keep! Your business — give it. Please. Having a pulled pork hero. Hard to choose it over the BLT with aforementioned house-cured bacon and house-made mayo, or an egg sandwich. My forty-four and a half years of more or less easy life hadn’t prepared me for how delicious the hero was. I’m certain that the secret ingredient is truffle black tar heroin oil.

Definitely a hidden gem in Wappingerfalls. For breakfast to get some great protein burger medium with a fried egg on top. Soooo good and they carry Hudson Valley Fresh milk. Eat local buy local. I think thats the slogan?
