Gold’s Gym

As a resident of the area for 30 years, I can tell you this gym is the best, and the best value in the area. The people at the front counter are amazing, the coffee is good and inexpensive, the gym is not as big as its counterparts in Newburgh and Lagrange, which I consider to be a plus, because it has everything I thought about needing. A full free weights area to the left, a huge area for matwork, kettlebells, bosus, fitness balls etc in the back and a main floor with 2 kinds of ellipticals, bikes, treadmills etc flanking the full range of cable and regular nautilus equipment. There is also a ladies gym connected directly to a spanking clean bathroom. For parents, a great kids club open at most popular hours. In the back right is a huge group exercise room offering almost every program imaginable, all FREE except yoga which is an additional $ 4, cheapest yoga in town. A full fledged Silver Sneakers program is very well attended at 11 am daily. Upstairs are more cardio machines, including two stairmasters, a rowing machine and a stepper in addition to the stuff named earlier, with windows and views outside and of the inside group exercise room. Upstairs are another two rooms, one for cardio biking which is booked, so sign up ahead of time, and a movie room, where you can do cardio without boredom to your favorite flicks. I have used 2 of the 9 or 10 personal trainers and they are both knowledgeable and fun. My 12 year old son also had sessions with one of them to build self-​esteem and strength and it is a lot better than therapy! The paperwork is very straight forward and with no doubletalk from the sales people. The location is excellent. I go 5 out of 7 days a week!

New very well-​equipped gym. Flat screen TVs and modern exercise equipment.
I also love their movie-​theater room where they are showing a new movie every day. It helps to do cardio-​machines A LOT.
Clean and nice facilities. Interesting classes + yoga.
Amazing customer’s service: guy at the front counter (Joe) knows EVERYBODY (members) by name and being very personable and helpful with ppl.
