If you want great Italian food, this is the place to go. The best Lasagna this side of the Mississippi River. (Never been west of it so I can’t comment) Expect to wait a while for your food because it’s not precooked and warmed up, it’s made specifically for your order, the noodles are light, the mozzarella is to die for and the sauce is terrific. Need I say more. A great family restaurant served by a great family — Gino, Millie, and their 2 sons. I have been a patron for years and it is the only place I would go for take out or eat in Italian fare.

Very busy, cute little location in the bowling alley plaza. We didn’t have to wait too long to get a seat. The service was a little slow, but the restaurant was full, so it was kind of expected.
We ordered the garlic bread which was fantastic. The wine came in very small glasses. The portion sizes seem small but they are actually just the right amount without feeling too full.
As we got closer to the end of our meal, the line of people waiting was starting to pour out the door. I kind of felt bad because there is no proper waiting area so they crowd the tables by the door.
All in all a good experience. Looking to order take out from them in the future and try the pizza!

Absolutely the best pizza and garlic bread around!

This place was recommended to us! Wish it wasn’t! 2 of us 118.00 we split a appt. had 2 wines and 2 beers! I would have not minded spending that money if the food was good! No flavor in the stuffed clams or the stuffed shrimp! Wasn’t impressed with salad either! 4 stuffed shrimp $ 22.00. Waitress had no personality!!! Will not be going back!

The best Pasta Fagioli in the area. The atmosphere is very plain, but the food is great. The staff is friendly and every time we eat there we have never had a bad meal.

I would give 0 star if i could! Horrible! The service sucks! Nobody sat us down even there were many empty tables. Nobody said hello. Waitress took forever to come to our table. We waited 45 mins, no food came. Then, our appetizer came. Then another 45 mins, nothing came. My daughter even fell asleep at the table. During the whole waiting period, no one came to ask if we need anything or apology for the delay. Some waitresses were at the front just chatting! I finally told them, we would leave because the pizza took so long. One of the lady put on a bad face and said that we still need to pay because the pizza was cooking. We were there a little past five. We got our pizza at 6:30! And the pizza was horrible too! Hardly any cheese on it. I can get the same pizza from other places for a lot cheaper. We will not come back, because the food and BAD service! What else can you ask for?

Family stand-​by. Staff is always nice to my family. They know what we like and no one leaves hungry or disappointed. Prices are higher than I remember but still a good value.

We ordered take out on a Saturday night. We ordered garlic bread with cheese (on recommendation from the person who took our order) and a large plain pizza. I am originally from NYC, and I have to say best pizza upstate, I felt like I was getting a slice back home. The garlic bread, however, was too salty, and I wish we hadn’t ordered it. The wait was about ²⁰⁄₂₅ minutes, and the staff was very courteous. I wish the wait wasn’t that long for a take out order; especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy when I went inside. Overall, the pizza was very good and I would def go back again.

This is our go-​to Italian restaurant and it can’t be beat. Never had a meal that was anything less than excellent.

One of the few real casual Italian pizza joints in the area. The grandma of the place literally just walked out to great someone. All family run and employees. Plus the food is awesome and traditional. Great causal place to grad a slice!

Excellent pizza, good cheese blend, tasty sauce proportioned correctly, a crust that has a nice flavor, and not too thick. On top of that the people who run the restaurant are extremely nice. I came in for a slice a week before my most recent visit, and they asked how I liked the pizza. Hey, it’s not a slick new looking place, but the food is what counts!

Ordered 2 large pies for pick up: 1 plain, 1 meatball. Anyone and everyone knows that when you say 1 meatball pie, you’re ordering 1 pie full of meatballs, not 1 pie that has literally 1 meatball on it. I’ve uploaded a picture to Unilocal for this business as proof. $ 2.25 extra for what appears to be 1 meatball scattered over the pie. Extremely disappointing and outrageous.
Second, they don’t deliver, which is fine. However, if you know I’m coming to pick up pizza, why let it sit and get cold? The pizza was cold by the time I walked out the door and into my car.
Third, we asked for them to be well done, which they weren’t. For an Italian Restaurant, these are inexcusable mistakes.
Overall, unacceptable and not recommended, as the above disappointment cost $ 31 for 2 cold, sorry pies.

Your not kidding about the time warp, it is like walking into a pizza place in the Bronx, in the 1960’s. Gino’s has the best meatball hero that I have had since I left the Bronx. It took me back when I sat down and ate it. I would recommend Gino’s to anyone that likes Italian food.

The pizza wasn’t as good as the first time I came here I do miss Bronx pizza. In any case the pizza was ok. The crust was perfect the sauce need more flavor the cheese was good too.

My favorite pizza place in Wappingers Falls. I think the prices are pretty fair and the pizza is delicious. I still have yet to try their actual entrees other than the veil and chicken parm sandwiches. Those always lived up to their expectations. Great family run pizza place right on rt. 9

I think the pizza is very good. Thin, cooked well, tasty sauce, good cheese, and a chewy crust. Gino’s is one of the few places I would order spaghetti and meatballs. I also like their chicken cutlet with broccoli rabe hero, it’s excellent.

If you want to roll into 1960’s/70’s Italian Ristorante/​Diner this is the place. Time warp for real. It’s almost comforting how dated this place is and they do NOT apologize for it. They are very confident and the food backs it up.
The staff are hand’s on and they will take care of you. The pizza is so good.
This is a low-​key place to sit-​down or take-​out. I am not sure if this place has a disAbled restroom but they definitely have wheelchair access into restaurant. The tables/​booths are a little close together but the staff, again, is very hand’s on and willing to assist but not overbear.
We will definitely go back.

Gino’s is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Dutchess county. Having been here dozens and dozens of times, I can honestly say that I have never had anything but an outstanding meal every time. My favorite, the stuffed shrimp, is so good that I refuse to try it anywhere else, as it usually falls very short in comparison. If you can get past the outdated décor and are purely here for an exceptional meal, then you will NOT be disappointed.
