21 Burgers & Wings

Doesn’t look like much but the burgers and fries are amazing! Seems like only one or two staff members but the waitress was really nice and took good care of us! A bit of a long wait so make sure you aren’t in a hurry, but its worth the wait

My daughter and I ate here the burger was so good and juicy. The bartender was a sweetheart. The calamari fries was omg wow very good I thought like everywhere else they would be rubbery but nope so good. Was very happy and will come back again

Best burgers and wings ever! We had the food delivered and it came right on time, still hot and delicious! Burgers are huge with very large portion of fries. So glad they’re nearby… yummm!

I called and ordered take out. Ordered 5 burgers for our group and they were made in a timely matter. The gal on the phone was very friendly and helpful! The burgers had good flavor and fries were good portion. We got Irish burger, mushroom onion swiss burger and el gordo burger. They were all good.

we shared the WISCONSIN CHEESE PRETZEL BITES which are NOT PRETZELS. they are cheese bite fried in a pretzelly batter: super crunchy outside, super gooey inside, with a spicy orange duck sauce type dip. I liked the flavor but Mrs Roomie didn’t think it really worked (too spicy).
For dinner, I had the Thunder: pork belly bacon. Need I say more. Mr Roomie had the Irish burger which he «enjoyed very much». Mrs Roomie had the RED, WHITE, & BLUE: «kick ass».

What a terrible experience. Placed a take-​out order, was told it would be ready at 7:01. Ordered a turkey burger with fries and half a dozen wings. Got there at 7:05, at which point the bartender (who was also the waitress and hostess… this place is clearly understaffed) asked what flavor I wanted my wings. I understandably looked confused since I had specified the flavor in my order 20 minutes prior, but she assured me «the wings are done, we just need to know what flavor.» This didn’t make sense to me, but I told her what flavor I wanted.
I then sat there for 15 minutes. Mind you, at the time I walked into this place, there was not a single table of customers eating. They were definitely not too busy to prepare my food promptly. People came in after I arrived, and the bartender devoted all of her attention to them and ignored me completely after I paid. I remained patient since she was clearly busy with handling 15 customers all by herself. 20 minutes after being told my food was done, I asked her to check on the order, and she responds, «it’s coming out.» She then finally goes in and gets my food and plops it on the bar. No apology, nothing.
I get home and the wings are PLAIN. No flavoring, no sauce whatsoever. And they were accompanied by the soggiest fries and the most bland turkey burger I’ve ever had. I’m not exaggerating at all. Not only did the waitress blatantly lie about my food being done prior, but this bar disregarded the flavoring that I (twice) ordered for the wings.
So why did I give this place two stars, rather than one? I caught a glimpse of one of their employees wearing a Mets shirt. I like the Mets.
Stay away.

After hearing some pretty good things about this place (and driving by every single day to and from work on 9D), my wife and I decided to head over on a Friday night to check it out
It’s small, it’s divey, but those aren’t much of a deterrent for us. They have very few tables but we found one open adjacent to the bar and sat down. We noticed off the bat that the bartender was essentially serving double duty as that and the waitress for the regular tables as well. As such, it took about 15 minutes for our arrival to be acknowledged. No big deal as we were in no rush. After receiving the menus and picking out our apps and meals, we sat patiently and waited… And waited… And waited some more. Nothing so much as a drink order was placed to this point. Finally after 25 minutes (no this is no exaggeration) the waitress returned to inform us that between their current orders and take out ones placed, there would a minimum 45 min wait to receive any food at all (even an appetizer). With this knowledge we decided to abandon ship and head out for a new location…
Now, I will say that I appreciate the waitress letting us know this information but I do wish she informed us sooner (prior to waisting 40 minutes sitting there for no reason). I could understand that this is a small place and perhaps they can’t handle the crowd but this is a Friday night… Hire a waitress or add kitchen staff, no excuses if you want to be a legit establishment. If not, just stick to being a bar
I’ll attempt to come back at some point as I’d still like to try it, and at that point I’ll update this. Until then, 1 star for this place

I’ve passed by this place plenty of times but tonight my father and I decided to stop in and give 21 a shot.
We were DEFINITELY not disappointed!
The staff was friendly, the atmosphere of the place was like the bar you’ve been visiting for years to have a drink and the food was delicious! They have a wide selection of drinks, burgers, and wing flavors!
I personally went with the Mexican Hot Wings which were pleasantly spicy and the onion rings were cooked to perfection. This is the prime example of the hole in the wall kind of place. It’s small (seats by the looks of it about 50 people) but that doesn’t stop it from being an amazing restaurant and bar.
You can bet I’ll be back, perhaps for Wednesday Wing Night where wings are 50 cents and ALL YOU CAN EAT for $ 10!

This place is the epitome of customer service. Although it is small and unassuming with a dingy décor… the service and quality of food is incredible. The water was the best tap I have ever had – it is triple filtered. You can customize your burger! The server was so kind, professional and accommodating. He ran the joint all on his own – bar and dining room. I think the guy was even cooking the meals! Ha :-) My nephew who got the «Cowboy» said «this is the best burger I have ever had».
The wings were real and tasteful! They have a homemade Paprika Mayo! So delicious! The fries… waffle and sweet potato were awesome. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for quality, service and taste for a great price. Again… service was amazing!

Just tried to get a delivery. I am by the New Hamburgh train station and that is to far for delivery for them?! What a joke that they offer delivery! Won’t call or go in. stop delivery if you can’t deliver 10 mins down the road!

The fact that this place sees such little traffic is criminal. Awesome food, great choices on tap, and a fantastic atmosphere add up to a true gem in the barren and boring valley.

Never have I been here before but decided to stop in on a whim
I was greeted promptly by the friendly bartender Beth and was asked if I’d care for a beverage and a menu
She was very friendly and knowledgable with beverage choices as well as menu items
The pretzel bites with cheddar were delicious as was the tai chili sauce that came with them and the bottles of bud were ice cold
I would definitely come back here again the environment was really nice with music playing and beth is a sweetheart!

Although an unknown place on 9d in Wappingers, this place is off the charts!!! Burgers that I would compare to any restaurant in NYC. Staff and ownership are extremely pleasant. Big shout out to Hannah who makes your experience here out of this world. I challenge any burger or wing place in Dutchess County to match the quality of this food and service!!!

After passing 21 Burgers many many times, we finally gave it a try on wing night! WOW! We loved it. We actually decided to go back every wensday. I encourage everyone to give it a try!

To begin I place an order for delivery at 5pm and was told the would arrive in an hour, it took a bit longer than that that… about 35 minutes longer… Finally the food arrived after 1hour and 35minutes… needless I wasn’t thrilled I had to wait but still excited about the food.
I ordered the El Gordo burger, Classic cheese burger I instructed both burgers to be cook medium well (that usually means very little to no pink in the middle) this was not what I received. The burger was a lot pinker than I preferred. I was also told the order came with steak fries… I received straight cut fries… again NOT WHAT I ORDERED… I also ordered spiced mango wings and regular mango wings. The so called spicy wings tasted like the non spicy wings and barely any mango flavor.
Overall, the food was bland to say the least… I guess if you like flavorless burgers and wings… this place is amazing.

Tasty wings and friendly staff. The Ghost wings are insane! Jerk wings are great! Stop by if you are a fan of wings. Honestly best is the valley so far

This place is fantastic. Split a ½ of the dry rub ranch wings and they were super crispy and flavorful. As an entrée I got the «Thunder» and it was a beautiful mess. The beef is absolute quality, huge and juicy. Waffle fries were super crispy.
